Yep it's me singing... this stuff is a means to an end for me, my way of getting to songwrite. Thanks for listening... I use Acid Pro 6... but I've been doing online karaoke for some time.. and I use Adobe Audition for my vocals *which I swear by* and I have a decent mic/mixer setup. I think it helps.

Hehe well now that you've heard me in some diff musical areas what do you think? :) When I started out singing it was all Jewel, Sixpence None the Richer, Suzanne Vega, Cranberries... folky pop stuff. I was scared to try anything more erm... out of my comfort zone. As time went on I got more adventurous... i've even done System of a Down at karaoke before lol. I'm still learning my niche with the electronic stuff and since I'm doing all the music myself I'm still limited to what I'm singing... we'll see what time brings ;) ~lisa

All spacey,beats nice and snappy!!!Over compressed though.... nice snare on that click / snap sound would do wonders!!!!Vocals excellent IMO, sounds very pro!Nice subtle little effects on the vocals making it sound good!I would recommend you for all vocal mastering to anybody! Where the rapper comes in you could twist it by adding a realy moody type sub bass,and tempo up the ghost hi-hats will give a real vibe to the track.This have potential!!!!
Must have been the original OS sound that was overcompressed because I never did any compression on the drums once I made the loop... even added reverb lol. I'll have to go in and mess around with it with a fresh mind to see what I can do to add a snare to it. Also I like the idea of the sub-bass... I am still learning to put together tracks so any advice for adding dimension always helps Thanks for helping out! ~Lisa
To be honest I did not expect much but I have to say it got my feet thumping and I liked it, just a few tempo issues and that it's short mastering later and yeah finish it .
yeah at this point I am just learning to do drums etc (I am an IDIOT in music theory.. singing is definitely the only thing I can say I am totally comfortable doing lol) so there would definitely be some issues that would crop up with the drums. Oh well it was done for a time-passer, a happy distraction, glad you enjoyed it :) ~Lisa

Heya Slap :) When I found out about Trey it hit me really hard. I didn't know him that well, but I felt like we had a kinship at least in certain areas... and his age was enough reason to feel like he should still be alive. When my dad passed, I recorded a song for him.. I realized it was a good way to mourn.. and since this song had been nagging at me the 2 days before I found out about Trey, it was the obvious choice. Pretty interesting backing, it reminded me of delerium, and you have an awesome voice (I think you unleashed it more in some of your other tracks though), you never seem to miss a note! Maybe one day when i make something that needs vocals, you'd be kind enough to do a collab :) Keep up the good work!
Yeah, I tend to do the chameleon thing with my voice.. my range is pretty wide so I try and use it however possible... and since my musical influences are from all over the place it's kinda hard to stay in one little box for long ;) I had a flanger on my voice in this one too so it sort of subdued things as well... a little too much I think lol. Wish I still had the master to fix that. Thanks for listening!
