Music is a cure-all for all things I say. I'm glad the mad crazy person that kept you from making awesome music like this is out of the picture. It's horrible how some people can sap our creative talents. I love the lyrics. I can identify easily. I'll have to fav this one.
Hey Lisa..great to see you back in the drivers seat..I must admit I was dismayed when you left the site..You've got a great voice and it should be utilised whenever possible..sometimes life gets in the way..but hey enough of that...This is a darker sound that I'm hearing..cool!..darkness is as much a part of life as light..the heavy synth line works well here and this track has an almost Black Sabbath type vibe...I dig it!...I think we'll have to get the old line up happening again and see what we can do..It's so cool that your singing again..your going to get a whole new fan base kiddo!...cheers Dave :)

Fiery - How did the line go in Amadeus? "I absolve you from mediocrity!" Nothing mediocre about this track at all! Your sincerity and passion here are really obvious - and in my estimation puts it into the category of "real music." I've a feeling we'll be hearing more of this caliber from you! Nice job on purge and exorcism!

Great pop sensabilities on this track. Excellent vocals... really top notch. Kind of dark subject matter, but I like it. I do like the glitchiness of the beat, it makes this stand out as not just a pop song. Nice work! Thanks for sharing!

Your voice is earthy and real which is soothing to me and grounds me. Your voice is real but you can tell there is a lot of practice and dedication behind it. In all of your work, you have a compelling sound and bring intelligent vocals and sound to the genres you explore. The song is beautiful and uplifting. We all need this song at times. Great experiment. I think you succeeded. The drums sounded a bit glitchey, but that's okay. It's what you were going for. I like how you gliched up your vocal a bit. The synth pads there towards the end of the song totally blew me away. Nicely done! The words really ring true in this song. Keep it up.
This was a lot of work because it took me forever to be happy with it. I kept going back, adding stuff, taking stuff away.. then was ages doing the vocal mixing too lol. Glad you liked it :)
I love the simplicity of this track. Your voice really adds to the smooth and mellowness of this song. Your friend is a great song writer. Coupled with the high quality voice such as your, it makes a great combination. I loved.

I was really thrown by the percussion timing at first - BUT when your voice comes in everything changes. I find I actually really like that hesitation in the rhythm! Isn't there a Chinese tradition where an imperfection is deliberately added into art? I'd say this was an incredibly successful experiment.
hehe... I don't know about the Chinese tradition but I know that when I heard that beat I really loved it and it was what fired me up to write this.. so even if everyone else hated it I'd still be happy with it ;) Thanks for listening and for appreciating my weirdness ;)
