that I didn't review this one yet. This was a fantastic first effort. I would have never known it was your first one if I hadn't read your description. Way to go.
I like the version you sent me and this was just in the featured box so i decided to check how you have progressed and to my surprise it was awsome!
i absolutely love this track and you can tell you have spent alot of time on this
Great job
sorry for not being in touch the past few weeks,, im getting back on track now :D
Well it's been a while since I dropped by and listened to your tracks, hey guess what! It just gets better. This is a great track, you said yourself you put a lot in and your getting a lot out of it also, I know I am listening. my advice is just keep doing what you're doing it sounds mighty fine lady! Oh by the way, you must have a pretty big folder of pics now, I like the new one! Is this a monthly thing? Cheers Slap...
Haha yeah I actually have a penchant for messing with my face... I do a lot of photo manipulations etc, also turning my face into weird graphic art (that's what the last one was). You can blame the fact that I am stuck hiding in my room too much when I'm watching my roommate's son. He's autistic and has home teachers.. and they expect me to hide away and not make noise.. but still be on call. Kinda kills music making during the day so I turn to graphic stuff lol. If people would let me take their pics I'd be playing with their faces instead... alas no volunteers ;)
I'm glad the work I put into this track shows.. Once I got started I needed to get it done before I could move onto something else. Thanks for listening! ~Lisa
Just hopped on the site and there was your song. I must say that you have a beautiful voice. I would like to add vocals to my music too. What do you use, b/c it sounds great!
Hey thanks very much :) I use Adobe Audition to do my vocal recording and mixing and Acid Pro to do the music. Seems to work well... even if it's a bit fidgety at times :) Thanks for listening!
Big depth happening...fathoms of it!......I swear your voice is sounding better(if that's possible)....a great piece of work, the time signature is different from your normal approach,I really like this aspect of the song as it shows your versatility........great!....cheers planet
Hehe, my voice is a funny thing at times... my range is fairly wide, but I find that certain sections of my voice (at least to my ears) seem to sound better. Hard thing is not all melodies use the parts of my range I actually like lmao. Thanks for listening, glad you liked it :)
this can be some thing lasting here i love the track and your voice is always great i would love to hear more of it on this one .but thats just me the song is still good
Heh... I pretty much just kinda put the stuff together how it comes out. I don't like the sound of my own voice enough to put more on it ;) Thanks for listening, glad you liked it :)
Yep, exactly. My ex spend 13 years wanting me to change... and when I did he was mad he didn't get to benefit *those were his words*. Thanks for listening :) ~Lisa
your voice is the best thing about this track, the rest fades away due to your awsome voice.don't get me wrong you done a good job on the instruments, but it aint as good as your vocal work.
Hehe it's good to know I didn't screw up the music part. I'll never claim to be a dj, I am first and foremost a singer/songwriter, and honestly if I had a band to work with I'd be one happy camper. Since it's just me flying solo, electronic works for me. I appreciate the nice compliment, it's nice to know that even though I really don't like my voice, others do lol.
that everyone else hasn't said? It has the seal of approval from me. Great track, both of you. If you'd like to check out some lyrics to see if you might like to play with them, let me know.
I heard a song you did with Hevlin had to check you out so this is somewhat a double review you were made for this always make time for your music it suites you youre a natural.......Regards Rockingchair
I always try and make time for it... sometimes time doesn't make time though ;) Mom of 2 and I take care of an autistic child full time... takes me some time to get into a mindset to write some days. Thanks for listening, I'm glad you liked it! ~Lisa
I absolutely love your voice. Your really talented, and EV is really good as well. i favourited this..Ohh..i can't say enough. If the rest of your songs are this good, then i can't wait to hear more. I'll be back for more.
hehe I'm glad you liked it that much. Most my stuff isn't hip hop (not that I don't love hip hop just not convinced I could write rhymes worth hearing ;)) Thanks for listening! ~Lisa
Yeah this was one of those tracks that was just plain fun to do because I had no emotional attachment to the lyrics (most my tracks tend to be about my own experiences). Glad you liked it, we both appreciate the listen :)
Hey thanks girl :) This track was fun because it was different from the stuff I write. I was hoping that I would get to do some collabs because I enjoy them... sometimes it's hard to find people on the same page as you though. Thanks for listening, we both appreciate it~
gave DJAmiie a review as well on this one! not sure if this one came before or after the chipmunk tift but this one honey rocks pro everything going to fav from your end !! about as impressive as it gets, perhaps before this site came into my life I would have never dreamt of listening to dance, trance, hip hop etc....................
I am ever changing, learning, and becoming more
and more open minded, and I can thank you, as well as others here for that !!

Yeah this was after the chipmunk thing... but Amy happened to have the same opinion as me about vocal pitching (at least to the extreme that beja did it) I honestly don't mind people messing with pitch as long as you can still hear some of the original artist in the track too... bugged me that I didn't sound like ME lol. Amy has the respect to know if it's a collab I should sound like myself... and made that clear going in. Thanks for listening :) ~lisa
Yeah I've had a lot of experience mixing my vocals so it ended up working out that she liked how I had done it... I actually expected she'd toss my mix and do her own lol. Thanks for listening, glad you liked it :) ~lisa
