That synth and drum go really well together. It's simple but in a complex way, if that makes any sense :D The vocal is really cool, has some neat effects applied to it. Honestly, the drums are my favorite thing. They are very groovy and carry the song into a higher level of percieved complexity even if it may be basic at its core.
Thanks for your comment ER. Always nice to hear your view on things. Because I hadonly 1 hour I used the most time on the drums and vocal because they are the backbone of a track. The acid synth is only 2 tones with effects. The melody is the weakest part in my opinion but I will change that in the near future. Always nice to hear a fellow producer hears how my workflow was. You were spot on!
Thanks for the comment. I still have a lot to learn but am very motivated to improve. The bass is not very loud in this track. Could have been better...
Hey, this is fun to hear for sure! Has kind of a sampled tracker sort of sound circa 2001 or something to my ears, which is cool. I guess my only difficulty in listening is that the whole thing is very biased towards high frequencies. I would love to hear those turned down in the mix slightly, and then remaster it. This would allow the bass frequencies to shine through more, without pushing the input of the mastering stuff further. Just a thought though, because I enjoyed the listen this way too. Good to hear some new trance on the site! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for your comment. The intro is very long and i agree that it makes it a bit repetitive. Later on it is better. Maybe I should have shortened the first part. A lesson for the future :p.
Although I don't listen much to that kind of music, I must say this is very nicely done...a lot of changes in the sound to prevent monotony and very silud and clean production...you have good things going on...keep up good work!
I can see why you didn't add a drop :3
To be honest, I would call this a chill-out electro because it's pretty much constant.
Overall, you've done a great job!
Sweet intro to this piece, really loving it, good use of the vocals, has a nice electronic sound about it, building nicely into the piece, very much like the way you have arranged this one, another thing too mate, nice clarity of your mix, impressive work, nothing to fault here from this end...Fav'd...very enjoyable listen...Thank you...Mosaic...
Had to check this one out when saw trance genre, as that's the genre I normally do, this is very different style and sound then what I do but really enjoying this progressive sounding piece you have don't, great arrangement, nice sounds, sort of reminds me of electronic feel with a touch of trance feel...either way very nice listen, keep at mate...Fav...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...
Man I am loving this track! If uplifting was the goal then you nailed it. The only critique I have for it is at 2:50ish the piano loop repeats oddly. Im pretty new to this so I am not really certain to explain in detail. Anyway Im digging this song.
I actually think I could master this for you. Could I try? What do you use for software, is it Ableton? Cause that's what I use. If you have Ableton, you could send me the project to my email. Let me know! :D
That's not at all what I said. When I said Martin Garrix, I meant his choice of the darker chorus synth he uses before the beat drops. You know, the one with the complicated melody? You should use a synth like that. Also, like I said, look at Calvin Harris' Summer jam! If you want your song to scream "summer", you should seriously get some help by studying that song. I'm not kidding, this song is just not complete.
I hope I was of a little more help to you, and that I could make myself more clear this time around. ;)

Alright, I'm gonna give you a lot of advice, so stick around.
You should get a really nice juicy hardstyle bass to drop with the song, as well as some sidechain with the chorus synth at the drop. The beginning is bright too. There's not enough reverb on a lot of your chosen synths, and there should be some more echo going on, plus the synths should be darker. I know you said you were trying to make it a happy song, but when a song is too bright, it can cheer you up, but it won't be super incredible. I really think the idea is here, but it needs more variation, plus more complicated-sounding synths. Look at Martin Garrix's Animals, and Calvin Harris' Summer, and create a blend of the two to finish this song, and make it into a really epic and fully complete song.

So what you are actually saying i have to change the complete song and make it another martin garrix copy. I really am not into that. But ty for giving me your well ment advice.

The track could use a little more variation in the way of chord progressions to make things more interesting, maybe some low end bass as well..
I think you're on the right track in developing as an artist, most of the elements are there and the rest will come with time and practice :)
Good job man
