I personally really dig the intro! It's like the diverse, high speed, glitchy type drum slowly collect together towards the beat. This is a really unusual style of hip hop which I can identify with. Unusual is meant completely as a compliment of course, as I would use "the usual" as more of a derogatory statement. The different stylistic elements are great to hear... DnB, budstep, glitch, jazz, breakbeat - I hear all those and possibly more in here. It's really cool. I could see this being really difficult to mix, but overall you've done well. I think that what Tripcore was hearing as "clipping" is actually some loops or samples which are clicking each time they repeat, as I hear that in the later part of the song. That would be the only thing I would recommend to work on, you know find out which ones are clicking by soloing them, and then adjust the loop. All in all an awesome song!
I like the mash-up style of the track, it keeps things interesting.. works out well for a 5 min track
The awkward beats during the beginning section are.. different.. almost experiment.. I'm pretty sure they were intentionally made to sound that way.. it's just harder for the mind to appreciate them, because they seem out of rhythm
I would have liked the vocals to be slightly louder
Excellent work here, MrFunktastic had some good ideas, but overall its an amazing track, an instant classic! You really have a talent Mr Chase! I will be checking out more of your work.
Hey there! I'm digging your vocal performance here! The actual instruments sound pretty cool as well. I guess my best input is regarding the constant percussion part of the main sections (I don't know what sort of perc it is, but it kind of keeps the tempo/groove)... I think it's could use some more variation, at least in velocity/amplitude. I know it's probably a loop, but you could probably chop a one shot from it, and then strip the groove as MIDI notes. This way you could trigger the one shot based on the groove, but also edit the velocities and even the offset to enhance the groove. Also would allow you to make different patterns with the same sound. Just a thought while listening. I think your lyrics and vocals are the star of the piece. Had fun listening! Thanks for sharing!
There's something about that drum beat that I find absolutely addicting. I particularly liked your rhymes and the way you pronounced them, but there were spots that the music over-powered your vocal to the point that I couldn't hear what you were saying. It's definitely original, almost old-school in it's vibe. Your voice fits it perfectly.
Overall, I really enjoyed listening to this track enough that I had to log in and make a comment while listening to it again.

Yup that's right Chase, speaking some lyrical madness. A twist in the brain. I dig your flow style here. Reminded of some modern oldskool style. Can't remember where I heard an idea like this before. Well anyways, The beat is nice I dig it. Would you be interested in doing a collab? Got some ideas that might work with your tone. Alright man, Good listen here and keep expressing the creativity lyrical assassin. Peace.
the real dj premier?!?! primo?!?! WHAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?!?!!!!!! talkin bout one of my favorite substances in this one, wish i had some... flows of the top of the head is tight, beat is tight. whole damn song is tight, noddin from start to end. need to mix this one tho, vocals are real quiet, bass explodes. but i still like it. awesome job.
love the simple acoustic eletric guitar sound just cut back no effect etc nice one bro if you add a Soft ware called BFD Expansion
you may get a little kick of live drumming going on your groove etc.
Or perhaps if you can send me up your vocals and that guitar sound in separate track and the key arrangements and tempo I will come up with something my e mail is 'boogieskippo@aol.com' enjoy
def a Wu-tang/ Method man influence i can hear. Pissin on the illuminati is always big bonus points. Good improvments over the years and look forward to hearing more, cool track 4 sure
