Well this is a pleasant suprise. You remind me a little of Kate Bush the way you reach those high notes. Excellent song writing skills as well. I particularly liked the part where you introduced that fat sounding synth.
Great work
Now, the cheeky part.....i don't suppose you'd be game for having this remixed at all would you?
I'd love to have a crack at it. (don't ask, don't get and all that)
Anyway, Whatever you decide.....bravo!! Encore!! etc etc......

What a range you have!

And I agree, not that there's anything wrong, that with the right song and production and all that jazz your voice would shine so [much more] brighter.

I really like the passion in your delivery and I so want to be free too!!! Great job Zenia :-)

Thank you so much Patricia! I listened to your songs too; you have a marvelous voice as well; beautiful vibrato.
I would love to have a good song production... I just don't have the means or a producer that knows what to do. That's my dream... to have help in that department. :]

Lady of Mystic quality and wonderful Vox. You my lady have so very much potential. All you need is someone to coach the magic out of you. Your range is beyond your imagination as of now however as you dig deeper and you can do so by listening to the great singers available you will pull the cord on a magical curtain.

Oh my, what lovely things you have said TvRicky! Thank you so much for your sweet words!! Means a lot to me absolutely. I have never been vocally trained so I definitely agree that I should do that!!
Regarding instrumentals and production...The instrumentals I create are all I can create as of the moment. I would love to have more options but it's just me and garageband. ha. but I'll do my best to pull the chord of the curtain... so beautifully you wrote your comment! It's art unto itself. :) Thank you!!

course we all know better equipment makes things....well, better haha.

but i'm listening to this for the second time, and i'm amazed because i'm getting something different as if it were the first time. as i listened i read some of the other reviews, and i think the sliding of the notes added a bit more character to the song.

minor's work always shines on its own!

and i absolutely love the fact that it has a positive message, and am grateful for you to share. great job!

not godly...like you said... but there's such a warm, rich feel to the tone of your voice. i LOVED it!

If u serious about doin a chorus for me than pick a beat and write one we can either exchange emails or put a download on here with the beat and ur vocals in the rights spots i can do the rest :)
i dont kno how much u kno bout music so dont b insulted but a chorus is just 8 bars and i need 16 inbetween to do my thing u kno? for a catchy song i think its best to do sumin simple u kno money skill love ect... u ever seen the movie hustle and flow? i can imagine u doin sumin like that... hard im sure but i always liked a challenge ;) lol whatever u come up with im sure will b fine tho

The only editing I put on it was reverb because of the surreal feeling of the instrumental. The mic I have is a Yeti Blue, it's actually quite amazing, I don't think I'm using it right? Anyway, I'll come up with something more natural without ANY effects so people can just hear my voice... since people seem to be asking for that! haha. :) Thank you for your comment! Means a lot.

Thanks again for your commet on my track glad you liked it. You got a pretty voice i'd like to hear it more natural i dont kno if its the effects or program and mic. i use pro tools le with a shure microphone its a lil high end but worth it. its still on the low budget side compared to the real pros tho. Ever try a rap style chorus? I'd love to use it if you wanted to try to do a song with me?

I totally loved it, and I actually am hearing it again right now. It's great! Your flow is amazing. Ha, yes, so, for this song I was using my computer mic (aaah!) and for The Flight I got a new mic. I'm still learning how to use my new mic, so The Flight was a test in that sense. :) I would love to do a hook of some sort to a rap song, if that's what you're talking aboot? Like the whole female chorus thing? Let me know! I'd love that!! :D

This was awesome to listen to... a real pleasure. Your voice isnt godly no...its goddessly lol but i really love the reveerb on your voice and the little delay you have at certain points. And I agree with you about the end of your track, it was a joy to listen to especially the layered parts!
And did you do the instrumental cuz that too is also amazing.

I see your quite new to the site so keep em coming. You can only get better especially on this site as fellow loopers will help you with support and/or advice (especially mahloo in terms of tech).

Anyways, Amazing job!

Thank you for such a thorough response!! That means so much to me! :) Aww, haha. Well, at least I don't sound like a man...phew! I loved making the end part... it was so surreal.
I didn't do the guitar or the beat, the rest I did though. The guitar was a loop, and the beat was a loop that I messed with. I wish my mic could record that kind of crisp quality!
I'm not that new, I just don't come up with songs that fast... haha, but I am relatively new indeed. I don't know many people as of yet. Thanks for letting me know these hints! Do keep in touch.

Ah Symphonic rock or better said symphonic metal are bands like Nightwish, Within Temptation and such.

And about those pitch issues as far as I can see the problem lies in the fact that you don't hit the note instantly and rather hit a sharp or flat and then rapidly correct it, it is very subtle although I make it sound so obvious.

As I said in my earlier review you have a very good tone and definitely keep working on your voice.

I heard pitch issues as well.. I had hoped no one would notice. ;) haha. No but really, I am currently re-doing the vocals. I can hear it, it's not at all subtle to me. You're totally right.
Check out The Flight and tell me if my voice is okay there, I also got a new mic which helps. :) Thank you!

Well with the risk of sounding harsh...why didn't you fix those pitch issues? I don't like those slides at all.

Besides technical issues I think you have an absolutely great voice and I'd actually suggest you'd try symphonic rock tracks, you've got a bit of Tarja Turunen's tone in your voice and I really think it would work out perfectly.

My advice...get a good mic and sing to the fullest of your potential cause you've got plenty of it.

I didn't fix the pitch issues because I just got the mic and was figuring it out.... but I wasn't patient enough to wait till I figured it out I had just to just tape it! Yea, I know, my voice kinda has huge pitch issues... but i'm actually in the process of re-taping it now!

Thank you for the compliments, but seriously I really appreciate the constructive criticism, because I really need to hear it to know what to improve! :)

I have a yeti blue big guy, I just didn't use it properly.
I've never heard of symphonic rock... unless I have and I didn't know it! Any recommendations to get an idea of what it is?

i think this is great work - I like the inspirational mesg - you can have be and do anything - your voice is wonderful and no pitch issues that i heard at all - also great work on the production - love the interplay of the cello/violin - very nice!!

Wonderful work and what a marvelous voice. I hear a bit of Kate Bush but also some Ann Wilson thrown in for good measure (I'm an old guy so I remember her well). I love Martin's work, and this song is a nice blending of two great artists.

I look forward to many more from you. Another great female singer on the Loop. I love this place!!!!
