This is pretty cool so far (I know it's pretty old now of course). Got a cool groove, and a good start to the songwriting. My only real trouble when listening is that the vocals get pretty harsh at a few points when they push the dynamic range. They just seem so loud at those points compared to the music. I guess it's just personal preference though. Hope to hear some new music from you at some point! Nicely done!
Yo. The string intro is a bit surprising for what is a pretty funky track. No idea it's funk from that intro.
I don't really like those vocals much. Guess they're OK.
I do like how the drum groove fades in. And also the fade in of the chugging guitar.
1:19 higher funk g is cool and now stuff sits nicely. Still with that string note in there. When it drops at1:41 some killer funk bass takes over. I guess that's a loop.
You could definitely improve the drums, which are a little thin. But it's a decent, pretty good fun, chillout funky track. Quite creative and not predictable.
Nice grooves and feel. The drum is a bit too thin imho, overall the tune needs more "fatness" to be more catchy and full. Still like it, though. Good work.
Very cool style here! Not the usual that I come across on looperman. Has a nice sheen to the mix which just feels good. Nicely done! I think the only thing I would change (though I know this song is getting old now) is the atmosphere at the beginning, it ends very suddenly and is very static when it is there... to the point where I started to thing it was just really loud hiss from a recorded track or something. Once it was gone it was fine though, so fading it or something might help. Any way, very cool and creative track you made here!
yes...very cool chill with a nice R&B kind of vibe that reflects some of your influences kd....enjoyed this one...your music deserves much more attention & many more listens my friend....you do it well......Ed (that little warbly vocal bit around 1:28 do sound a tad perculiar..is that the way it was sung?)
I know this is one of your older tunes, but it really is quality work. Her voice is stunning, and the production is excellent. Great song. It would really be something special if you could have had this one in the studio with some session players. Anyway, great job and I hope you are still writing and recording. I hope all is well.
Wow, this is beautiful. You chose a good vocalist for this. When I heard the intro my mind actually went to the days of roller coaster tycoon as the music had this kind of feel to it. I love it!
Capturing, positive title. Remarkable instrumentation, and soothing, yet empowering voice. This altogether is a beautiful track. It has such a chilling and simple sound, yet such complex vocals and powerful choice of lyrics. This is absolutely well-rounded. Nothing needs to be changed. This is truly a masterpiece. Amazing!
Loving this laid back feel vibe. Guitars are simply the best. Editing n transitions seem right on time. great job with the outcome! outstanding work here:) -EazyBeatz-
A Beautiful Day Indeed!. I love the Fret-less Bass work. Raw Vocals reminds me of Joni Mitchell in some ways. Then that awesome guitar. I could see Tumbleweed loving this one. Then the Harmonies just cemented this one for me. Great Job!

Thanks for your detailed comments. Lacey indeed has great vocals, and she can do harmony on the fly. Badhuman cemented the original guitar work, and did some stellar work with it.

One suggestion. If you add a little-bit of reverb on the singer, then she will stand out more powerfully.
