What an unusual track! The title had me instantly hooked and was suitably surprised!! Love it! Definitely the most unusual I've heard in a while. Well done.
I can detect a fellow renunciate from a BILLION MILES AWAY I can sense their pain. You may not know this yet young lady but you are a RENUNCIATE just like me...
Fantastic Work! You're a BRILLIANT young lady Keep it Up! :)
Hi Megann - did you just sing 'i take a pin to go to sleep at night'?? ah, i know you didn't but that's the image i get - what else could a human voodoo doll do? Identify.
The recording catches the intensity of your perf and this is really a moving and thinking piece of music.
True respect.
I like this text, your voice and simple, but also special. You give here, a certain freshness who does good.
You have had this request below for a remix, but my question is: You have just the acapella of this song?
Listened to here, what I produce, and if you are interested, know that I am also.
For fun, and of course without obligation ....
Thank you. If you would like my vox to do a remix then please contact me: m.oneill2525@yahoo.com .... and for the other remix request, if he needs my vox separate he can just ask, not sure what exactly kind of direction he's taking in the first place
This is state of the art expressionism, fantastic melody here. I like the chorus effects you added to your vocals not sure what you used [peddle or plugin] but it's fantastic.. Keep your head up it's called trial and error. Error in life is inevitable without error or the pain that results from error we can't grow or learn. You get stronger as your journey progresses stay strong young lady. Keep up the good work.. Cheers
Thank you so very much! For the vocals I used a usb microphone, and for the guitar, I played the piano on my MIDI keyboard under the preset of a guitar. (preset plugin on garageband). Thanks for the motivating words. Cheers
da vinci once said, simple is the greatest sophistication. two track record that makes u rlly stop n think, now thats art. i would love to get my hands on this...for a remix of sorts. but great work. and dont worry about mastering...i think the lack thereof adds to the underground, and more importantly, pureness of the record.
You have my permission for a remix, what direction would you go with it in terms of a remix? If you end up doing it just shoot it at me in an email! Thanks! m.oneill2525@yahoo.com
I'm not sure why all the downloads, but nobody leaves any comments....where's the love people? I would love to hear your vocals a bit more forward in the mix. As I've said before, you have mad skills, don't be shy about showing off :)
Very cool moody track. Has lots of potential. Would be great to do a re-mix :-) ... Only thing I would like to hear is vocals at moments with no verb FX..bring them at times up in peoples faces to hear every breath...voice is good enough to do this. Good job though!

hhhhhhhhmmm... I recognise this track minus the vocal... I have to go with Sukuta on this one...so it is just the fact that you gotta work on the track in post production... work on your EQing and maybe add some reverb to that vocal to take the edge off... maybe record a backing track to underline what you have done already...
hhhhmmmm... I still recognise that track though..it's really bugging me...
Thanks for your critique, um not sure where you would have heard it because i made it and I did change the EQ level quite a bit on the melody to make it sound airy almost like the song had a weather-like touch to it, but that's my point of view. Thank you for your thoughts on this, I'll try editing the song and fixing it here and there.

I like the intro and the backing, some good ideas there. The vocals are a little raw but they feel immediate and honest. the drums fit well but I feel they need some variation as they started to become intrusive. Overall, I really like this.
