pretty trippin... I love electronic music, some good guitar stuff tricklin thru here... if I was setup properly I'd wanna do a remix but alas... nice work, if you make a more beat or guitar driven version, please let me know. Neal Visher @DesignByNV
long time no see neal, hope all is well. glad you enjoyed this enough to want to remix it...unfortunately the file is gone with an old laptop I spilled beer on :(
I'll keep you in mind for future endeavors, though!
There's a lot of sounds going at the same time, but the good side of it is that you managed to mix them all into one great sounding track! Could use some vocals to fill in some empty spaces
Hey there mate...in a word tres cool electronica!!....I really like the metamorphic nature of this track it's almost like a musical kaleidoscope in places, the transitions appear and disappear going through a mini black hole in the arrangement and yet there's always the after image of a vestigial melody, ghosts in the machine territory for sure, at 1:16 there's an interesting apparition and for a moment I thought there'd be a solid groove starting, but you eased off into the end game, could have been much longer but I really enjoyed it as is.....cheers Dave :)
thanks dave! yeah I'm working on some pieces that are more developed these days, this was definitely a perhaps too concise compositional experiment. but I'm glad you enjoyed it for what it was.
Man, this is straight up emotional music. I haven't heard anything that sounds like this. It kind of sounds like psychedelic hip hop! I love it! I have bought a KORG Volca Sample, because I am poor, so I hope to make some awesome beats with my sample playback device. Someday, an MPC1000 would be really cool to have. I really like the bleeps and bloops in between the notes :) Keep on jamming!
Thanks Allochtune, I appreciate the listen. Psychedelic hip hop is one way to describe it for sure, lol.
Bleeps and bloops were created on the slim phatty, pitch LFO on the bassline and automating the octave of the oscillator :) -- (if you were curious) --
Let me know how you like the volca sample. I hear they're a neat tool. Btw, take a listen to the Brainfeeder label if you want to hear more stuff like this...
Matt! Glad to see you posting some new music on the Loop. I haven't made much new music in a very long time. Inspiring to hear some from you. Always been a fan of your work. Hope things are well. Peace NP.
glad to see your name on the loop again, I've only recently started posting again here for feedback. I am doing pretty well, still got some health issues I'm dealing with but life is good. If you're ever in the NYC area hit me up for coffee! would love to chat again
Cool man, took me awhile to zone in on the pitch shifting vocals but they work well within the arrangement...I'm glad your taking steps to change (though obviously I have no idea on your personal situation nor would I ever deem to pass judgement) just happy to hear your back being positive and creative.... it's all we can really hope for on this ship of fools called planet Earth. cheers Dave
Cool track and good to see you back! Interesting track, lot's of neat sounds and effects. The ending was great. Logic has some awesome sounds, I should get into it more, impressed with what you did here with it. The transition in the middle was a nice touch. Well done!
Hey, thanks for listening! Logic has such an awesome tape stop/speed up effect -- that's really the only "effect" I used from logic besides reverbs and delays. Lots of tweaking the "noise" knob on my synths!
Hey this is a very unique and original sounding track! I enjoyed listening thoroughly. It's good to see you stop by the community! What kind of hardware went into making this one? It has that slightly dirty feel that I enjoy in a downtempo track. Very cool work! Fave!
thephilosofist.. First off you are an amazing talent and the shame is if you dont stay posted on the loop sometimes you miss good work by fellow artists...im glad i got a chance to listen to this..amazing synth work over a very smooth beat...gotta listen more to your music...your new fan
