upbeat tune Nelson...definitely a bit different and that is a good thing when you are getting creative...some nice fat synth sounds behind the lead..I just listening with my old Sony cans this evening & they don`t produce the lows real well but sounds like maybe it could be kicked up a bit with some nice low bass...well done...always good to hear some happy music...Ed
You can send me some song like that, easy BPM , not very fast because i'm newstyle dancer on Ce2Dro@gmail.com ? need some new beat to dance on it ;) You rock homie
Hello my dear friend!
Happy to hear from you again.
Well my body of work reflects how i was feeling at a certain point in my life.
Sometimes i just wake up and start beat boxing or whitlsing some melodies of wich i record straight away to my phone before i forget them (that sometimes happen).
So all in all i just go with the flow and mood of the moment.
Glad you found my track to be fantastic.
I can tell that there's no random sounds (do you mean notes?)in my track but i respect your opinion.
The whole purpose of me making this track was for people (myself included)to stop being so serious in life and have even if sometimes we might look silly and daft.
Username checks out! This definitely put a smile on my face, and made me want to dance through the streets in a mankini, a Borat wig, and the biggest moustache on earth.
Damn, that is an intense sound you've achieved. Feeling it in my spine! It has some sadness in their, and maybe some hopeful feelings, at least to me. Reminds me of some recent New Order work in a way... if you haven't heard "Music Complete" yet, it's totally amazing. Those strings especially sound quite eighties influenced. Cool harmonies going on! This could be quite a song with some lyrics/vocals. Really enjoyed listening to this! Fave!
Thanks Patrick.
Wow,that's some review.
Yes,the track was inspired actually on my brother.Maybe it's where some of the sadness you mentioned came. That you can see someone that is really in love and wants to live together and move foward and the other don't want that because...well,freedom.
I like some bands and music from the 80s and i feel its a fair comparison.
I wish i had the voice and do a bit of singing on top.
This one is realy very enjoyable to listen to! I love the calm way it comes. For sure it is one of the best remixes from this track i listen to.
Good work!
Thanks man
Im really chuffed by that.Every remix has its own personality and touch.
It was really a pleasure to work on it.
Credit goes to Spivkurl for making it available to all.
Very good experience
I have in fact done another 2 remixes of the same song since.
Feel free to check the latest one, when you have the time.
Thanks again
I really enjoyed hearing this remix! I think you used the stems in a unique way throughout. The selection and layering of the vocal stems is especially cool to my ears! Your addition at the end (clapping and vocal improv, yours I assume) is so excellent! It really brought the whole track together for me. Thank you so much for getting involved! Hope you are healing up! Fave of course!
Thank you Patrick.Your opinion really matters.
I wanted to make an lo-fi remix. The first version had some hits of several vintage drum machines but then i decided to start again.
Your stems are really well organized and labelled and that made my life easier.
Yes,its my vocals and handclaps.
I think its a nice touch. It had also some whistle but i decided not to include.
Glad it made you smile.
Thank you mudhoen.
I really had fun remixing this song.Yes,Spivkurl has his very unique style and a very distinctive one.
Thank you for taking the time.
I love dancehall!! I used to "scare" my fellow workers listening to Shabba Ranks, Buju, Beanie and all the rest. I was waiting for a deep voice singing some cool Patois words, that would have been really nice for your song. But well done, you made me smile with this :)
Thanks Teegee.
Funny you said you used to"scare" your colleagues at work, because i also listen to music at work and im pretty sure that some of my musical choices must put them off as well.
I have someone in mind to lay some vocals so lets wait and see.
Glad it made you smile.
Thank you for taking the time.
I think composing/playing is always fun & interesting...I use the cinematic genre quite a bit just for that reason (lots of license)..I never really got into chiptune & didn`t have much of an ear for it till I listened to some of the stuff Spivcurl was doing here on the loop...(I suppose thats because my first synth/keyboard efforts were to add pads, strings etc to what I was doing)...It really does seem to marry up well with those classic video games.....you do it well....I`ll be back to check out some more of your tracks when I catch up with myself over here....Ed
Hi Ed.
The thing is,i like different genres of music and i always like to try to make stuff that i really want, its a bit how my mood is/was at the time of making a track.
Your stuff its really well produced and one can tell you are a talented musician.
Yeah,Spivkurl is a legend and i like his approach to music as well.
Great to hear you back...long time no see...hope everything is fine in your life...
This alt/rock one is simple but super catchy...weird distorted bass? for the main harmony and great work on this later too...
Like the tone of the drum...very pure, dry, exact sound...
Thanx for the upload...instant fav...
Its good to be back.I am more like a bat these days(i work night shifts you see).I cant really complain about my life.
Theres no bass on this track, its only a guitar vst.
As for the drums everything came from a real drumkit of wich i then programmed. The organ also is an vst.
I wanted to keep everything simple and it sounds really well in the car.
Thanks for the love
Best wishes my dear friend
