Mr Axel love a bit of punk sham69 clash pistols, I wouldn't mind trying some lyrics on this piece, I'll have to write something to scream out, do you mind my mate
It's also got a feel of the jam's I got a pocket full of pretty green, I'm goinna put it in the fruit machine, I'm gonna put it in the dukebox, it's gonna play all the records in the hit parade, yeh, I was a big fan of the jam
Enorme tema amigo MrAxel, sonido y mezcla con calidad profesional, poderoso, con una batería autentica y un bajo y una guitarras brillantes, con clase. Me gusta mucho como suena. Buen día compañero. Paz y salud.

Gary Newman great track Cars I used to bott to this all the time, yeh as you, I'm old, so we were around for the original when it was released still a cut above, you done a great job, the memories eh, fav'd
i was not born in that time. But i know that tune. Got me instant smile. Its a really nice production and the synth play is awesome. I really like the snare in this track got that 80's punch. I like your vibe Mr.Axel. i downloaded it and will have my fun with it. Love from a banana
Ahhh. brought a tear to me Eye. 40 years ago my classmate Rosario would not shut up nonstop about this tune back in the states. timeless mate and you nailed it.! fav´d
I must confess to never haven listened to bon jovi - this reminded me a little of 'the cars' - with I guess some more classic rock elements (bon jovi?) At any rate - it's a damn fine track with a nice 80's rock sound : )
cool intro, Eighties like, ooh that bass tone is nice. That voice box was a bit scary like Richie had eaten a bad Hogie or something and recorded the aftermath of it. But you captured the zeitgeist of that time in NJ overall, good work. Myself; I was on Long Island NY and we hate NJ HATE NJ!!. But we respected Bon Jovi. and the Boss, that's about it. Jersey shore sucked.
Mr A who doesn't like a bit of Jon Bon Jovi, great piece. I could easily place him singing to this inspired work, great job, hope your degree planning is working out well too
Paul, I really thought I would be in class with some kids. I thought I would be the oldest person in the class. Damn! I am the oldest guy in the class. Lol!
This is the first time I have been in class in nearly 4 decades. My brain hurts.
I don't know what's happening lately on Looperman, but every time I log in I am treated to some real deal rock! This track of yours does not disappoint. I love the raw quality and the production is top notch. Well done, guys...
This track just put me in the best mood ever. Amazing work! Makes me wanna dance down the boardwalk while blaring this through my speakers. I gotta download this so I can listen before I go to work so I'm in a good mood all day!
I know all about forcing oneself out of the "comfort zone" (I come from extreme metal and attempt to dabble in as much as possible).
As far as genre goes, I'm a music lover not a genre lover. Genre categorization is for critics, and non-musicians that need a way to organize their tastes. It's not a bad thing, it is just not the musicians' responsibility.
I would be wary of being a "purist" with most things. And don't worry about trap in everything, pop absorbs the cool and makes it lame, so it will kill the cicada beat for you, I give it about a year, and the genre another 3 or 4 for the "purists" :)
And, great mix. Nothing wrong with "4 on the floor" if it sounds good. Nice bass and pluck choices as well. The hats are a bit wet on the reverb, but it seems to fit.
Also, if you want to "break the mold," try some 7th and 9th chord substitutions, instead of open position and bar chords (generally speaking), to spice up the harmony (just a thought).
Elvis was a purist, James Brown was a purist, and Jimi Hendrix was a purist. so it all depends on what context you put it in bro. Back then we knew who was on the lead guitar, who was on the bass, who was on the keys, and who played the drums.
Today that does not matter anymore because everything is a mashup. You called me a genre lover, thank you. The genres of yesteryear have survived like Motown. Motowns genre-based songs will have a very long top-shelf life. Mashups are not so lucky. Its not that I love genres. I mean the Beatles played in a specific genre. I just dont want a Deathcore-Gospel music song, I dont want that.
At the end of the day I want a chillout playlist to relax to with no rap. Radio stations to this very day depend on genres. I mean I dont think I would like Kanye West in a Green Day song. That would really ##### for Green Day. thanks bro!
