very authentic Mr A, punk rock how it should be. yes i grew up through the scene, although i was a dancehall famer, i always loved the pistols, Sham 69, the clash and the Jam were a fav of mine, political moderates i'd say, but loved them. Paul Weller was someone i admired, he must have rubbed of on me because ive had it said about couple of my tracks having a Style Council vibe from other producers, this appeals to me, id love to do a punk track
Great piece of house music here. This mixdown is superb, the vocals are superb and so is the instrumental. I could picture going for a night drive listening to this. Great work!
I remember this jam from the 70s, you did a great job with your version. The groove it tight, the melody is grooving and it brings back memories of a great era of music that once was.
Hello Mr. Axel. It's still a really great song that invites you to dance and that really shouldn't be missing at any New Year's Eve party. Great job in all areas, very well mixed and directed. If I were wearing a hat, I would take it off and bow to you! Kind regards, Manuela
I feel like I remember listening to this a ways back and commenting but maybe I just faved it... Anyway, faved now sure. Great track as it is but with a vocal too, that would be killer. I was actually randomly going back in time the other day and listening to The Skids, this track isn't similar at all except maybe the attitude.... Gonna have to do some more time travelling.
Haha yes I totally get that. I took a lot of those shortcuts and especially drumming I didn't get until I took drum lessons. I love what you said, totally agree: next time you'll learn from it. Good job man, and again, excellent guitar playing!
Excellent guitar playing! See if you get slightly better drums, either with a midi keyboard or actual drums, which I think would lift this immensely. DM me if I can help you with that!
Yes the drums. I put so much effort into everything else that I took a shortcut on the drums. Damn you Toontrack EZ drummer. LoL. But thanks a lot. I won't fix this but I will learn from it. Thanks.
This artist may have been before I was born but having a father who was a musician with a treasure trove of music from Jimi and other great artists, I learned a lot about the GREATS with older siblings who drummed music galore into my ears :) how could I not know who (Johnny Allen Hendrix was) I listened to this earlier but had to dash. I honestly felt compelled to comment & give the acclaim this deserves because if I ever thought I had heard the best guitar playing here on the loop, maybe I need to reconsider after hearing this because it's has blown everything out of the water. That guitar is clearly an extension of you and your talent undeniable. This is freaking off the wall & the hook incredible! capturing the essence of Jimi. Digging this to the max! Kudos!
Thank you. I always enjoyed songs from the past. Remember the bands? Back in the day, it took an army of people to make a song. You knew who was on bass, lead guitar, and the Rhodes back then. Tons of producers and engineers as well. People would actually write songs with others back then. Did you see the Beatles special streaming on Netflix? It was cool to watch young John Lennon and McCartney give birth to some astonishing and iconic songs. That simply does not happen that much anymore. I am knocking how music is made today. My kids like to make fun of some of my vinyl recording albums. It's all about what you know when it comes to music, I guess. I like jazz, the Blues, and RnB. The Blues really annoys my kids a lot. I am here on LM to have fun with music. This site is very wonderful. I think the community here are very nice and friendly. Well, thank you for taking the time to write a long review, I wanted to say just as much. Cheers!
great one ... those guitars and bass are get that feeling for sure ... the drums are a bit digital for me but we can say this is 2023 ... :-) fistbump, Danke
Yes the drums. I put so much effort into everything else that I took a shortcut on the drums. Damn you Toontrack EZ drummer. LoL. But thanks a lot. I won't fix this, but I will learn from it. I am still learning about these drum packages. Thanks.
Wow a well done homage to the unforgettable Jimi. Very well performed guitar. Although I am young, I have heard and seen many Woodstock records. Your style of play is really very close to him. All attention! And you nailed the sound as well. really good. Greetings Manuela

Really great energy and authentic playing. i think you should shop it for a vocalist and distribute it maybe.
