Wow Cait this is really something. I love the idea behind it too. That apprehensive, cautiously stepping bass remains throughout and certainly encounters many other, sounds or, wanderers of the night. I will cherish this dearly. Thank you so much.
This reminds me sitting outside on a hot early, summer night. I can almost hear the frogs croaking as I close my eyes and listen. A very realxing, very enjoyable piece you have created here. Leaves loads of room for imagery.
Dig it!! got a smoky atmosphere about it, kinda cinematic but very chilled out piece i like how minimal it is ..very cool transition into the spoken word and scat effect...this got me all laid back and lazy almost drugged lol, good job faved for sure.
This tracks so exotic and enchanting. I'd enjoy driving to this sort of music. The drums and percussion sound really complex, i wish i could make beats like this. Good work!
..why thanks!..i use ableton live 7 and an m-audio midi controller and an old laptop..as is my custom i trawl for samples..find one that spawns an idea and then start layering..i write a few bits and bobs and sample heavily..this was a jam initially..that's why it's so long! ('',)
I am frickin loving this! Its just a great groove - makes me want to take the day off and just get lost in music! It is its own little vacation - and I am a big fan of mixed genres and experimental - thanx for this - downloaded for sure!! Great work here

It has to be a great song to keep my attention for this long but I enjoyed it to the very end. I was playing along with it on my acoustic, changes key a couple times. Enjoyed it, loved the bass track! Very cool, dl and fav! I like the idea behind the song as well.

hi mate, strange blend of genres im hearing!? sounds like a small mix by a DJ, hard to place in any one genre!! but interesting all the same, some nice chilled elements and also some nice deep house sounds!! nice work any way!!

The intro was very nice indeed. I felt a deep house thing creeping...just speed up those kicks, if you wanted to go that direction. You do a very good job of overlaying drum samples..nice groove. Cool lyrics, deep, thought provoking. The sax was very good, sounded like it belonged to the track.
This track reminds me of the vocals on "Keep Falling" by Jazzanova w/ Ursula Rucker...it sounds very much like her, and has similiar poetic vocab.
I really like the beat you created here..had a nu-jazz style buildup in the intro. Nice use of samples. One thing I would like to change is the reverb amount on the backing pad/piano. It seemed to overtake the beat a little. Overall cool arrangement though.
