Happy New Year Paul
We are in the early days of 2026 so I think I can still wish you the best for this year.
Great song, caustic lyrics and a beautiful performance by you as a singer. I sure liked your song mate and your sound a bit of Lo-Fi to my ears, a bit dirty to fit the tough words.
Best regards, Anthony

Hey Paul. How ya doin' man?
I dig the beat on this one. One thing I've noticed in your tracks is that you keep your vocal track low in the mix. Sometimes they get a little buried in there. Especially since you do hard L/R panning with them. They're not getting the full signal, so volume dips out a little more.
So, at 0:37 and again at 2:37...is that a rubber duck!? Please tell me that's a rubber duck! If it is, that's the absolute icing on this cake, man!
A good start to the new year here, brother!
Take care, Paul.

hi Aaron, yes bruv it was a rubber duck, i actually had it 0.37 only and added it again, because it made me giggle, initially i was gonna blow a strawberry but it sounded crap and the duck idea just come, to be truthful, it hits harder than telling someone to F.OFF lol, i am really pleased someone asked, thankyou, i try to do things that standout mainly lyrics, but this was a lightbulb moment tbf and it worked.
the volume change is that new single clip editing FL introduced, i don't think i'll bother again with it tho, it took to long, i cut all the dead space between vocals anyway but you can fade both ends now, even the tiniest or one word. i'll probs go back to the old way, cos the slightest of difference stands out,
i applaud you Aaron, 2026 dime also wants to see more constructive critique in everyone's comments, great/nice track doesn't really cut it for me, we all need it to improve also. if its offensive no, but if its constructive most definitely. I'm sure you'd agree :-)

Happy New Year, DimeStop! This is another straight-up D-O-P-E session on the M-I-C from a truly great M-C.
The delivery is sharp, love the beat and the flow is locked in; bars hit with confidence and control...no wasted moments, just solid energy from start to finish. This is the kind of track that reminds you why you fell in love with rap in the first place. Strong way to kick off the year...

Yessir, this is what we've been waiting to hear! Youre a very unique artist, Paul, in countless ways. Im happy to be here to see your music grow, and also you personally as a result. When it comes to authenticity, youre at the top of the list, my friend. The extra energy in this one is contagious. Ive had a drink or 7 tonight, but now i feel an urge to pull out the keys and come up with some new melodies. Cheers brother and Happ New Year!

hello Glenn, my first comment/reply of 2026 to a lovely message, it means more than you think when others consider this is the best or classic dime, to be able to create a character that is believable fills me with pride, and a little secret it all started off as tongue in cheek, i tried to create controversy but the bugger was liked, i think i know why too, he's that bad that he's good

I'm 3 parts pissed and it took me 45 minutes to write this, Happy New Year :-)

Hey Paul you old traitor hahaha.
But it sounds good for real.
I didd make some covers of a few old beats with Suno.
They sound great and i didd it in the hope Suno will make it that way so i can sing on it.
Just like you i will never claim that it is 100% mine but its my beat changed by Suno.

sweetheart happy New Year, how are you feeling, its great to see you,
i like the track thats why im pissed cos it took 30 seconds, that would take me hours to get that tight, theres nothing to like about pressing a button, we may like the result Rita, but come on, me an you are old skool there's no fun if you not plugin choosing and mastering, i hated engineering, now i love it as much as singing, check in later the real dime will be back up, and please consider coming back to us full-time, I'm am starting the year with a push I will be asking the community for proper feedback to be given to everyone, nice track is not cutting it any more for me, critique is missing, dimes bringing it back

Well, this hits hard - nothing flimsy here at all. Just imagine getting your hands on something like this back in the 1990s; youd literally have caused earthquakes around the globe with this masterpiece. Youre no traitor, and theres absolutely nothing wrong with experimenting. Besides, I dont think anyone can stop this movement anyway, haha - its here to stay, and a lot of people are already using it as a platform to shine. I mean, if you felt like it, you could even let some AI music coexist with your own work - a kind of hybrid, perhaps. Who knows?

dimestop replied 30th Dec 2025 - 4 months ago
The track itself is cool Richard its got great lyrics, it's catchy and it sounds good, it no worse than stuff on radio, if AI had been around years ago and built into DAW's then we might have accepted better, but remember real musicians hated the digital musicians at first, learn to play a real instrument, i DO you Muppet, keys and drums, add a whistle bicycle bell and triangle to the list also lol
it is definitely here to stay, but it is neck deep in trouble with law suites, free use non commercial cool, but if this wins and gets a commercial licience there is only one winner, the labels,
they can bin all the vocalists and producers, studio fees etc and churnout music like this track, which is enjoyable by draggin a few computer boffs 16 yearold snotty nosed kids that know their way around a daw and pay them peanuts, at least we all have a little talent, if you wanna press buttons and take the risk, play a one arm bandit, copyright is technical and extremely costly

Well....to respond to the below comment, in a way, of course its "Where's Dimestop?" but thats only to those of us that kno u and love your work. To those that do not but are potential Dimestop fans, asking Where's Dimestop presents a much clearer problem....because it becomes who is Dimestop? It was never our intention to Discount your ideas or willingness to try new things, but to remind u that youre very authentic and unique, and will never need to do anything more than u always have to remain so. Have a good New Years Man!

thanks Jared, your words are wise, i started just loops with music and it grew from that, cracked software, i realised quickly i love this, and wanted to explore and get the best so i bought it , All Editions and now all the hardware my set up is looking sweet, I'm a registered user have been for a while, I'm also a FL cloud subscriber millions of loops in my DAW, and some better tools, its my way of giving back, making music saved me.
as i built friends, my encouragement and support of them blossomed, as did my knowledge and experience, so i created dime, an he'll be back up a little later,
i thought I created a cheeky chap with confidence but he has become a Monster, it's like he exists Im amased, and proud, i thought people would tell me to F.O. because i made him a braggard, Paul is not like this at all.
and you never once said this track was rag nobody did, but if you check the comments its good lyrics, then all AI talk, we want to talk about music production not AI, BeatMaker, a very good mate and artist for time, gave me the final slap that i needed. were's dimestop,

wow..you know as a software engineer it makes me laugh now as how over the years we designed the very thing that has now caused many in my field to have to transition from what we once did...to baby sitting A.I technology. It's going from bad to worst in my opinion...hard to tell whats real anymore. After sitting in front of a computer for 12 hrs..it's a joy to come home and sit in front of my keyboard to come up with something from inside of me....I'm a person that never felt comfortable even using a loop...that's why I don't do sample based beats...just felt like it wasn't really mine. Overall the project came out good..but where's Dimestop ?

bruv thats the best comment I could of wished for, honestly. I have humiliated myself, allowing AI bitch to sing my lyrics, dime turned into Santa and forget to change his clothes, he's furious with me, I'm going to change it later defo, dimes back bigger and louder. Im like you i sit at my keyboard havin bags of fun and i just purchased the FL key 61 midi, I want to improve my playing 61 keys gives me ample two handed, i will deleted this track from my laptop too, its as given me a sickening feeling since i uploaded, come back later, im at work :) doing nothing, so i come home for a couple hours cos I'm on the road always

Hello Paul
Well recently I did the same thing, I mean I feeded the UNO AI music maschine with lyrics of mine and it producesd for me some excellent songs. I did upload one that I firstly extended to 2.5 min in Cubase but then I deleted it since I read on SUNO that if not on a paid subscription what I should is to post a link to the song...so I guess there are matters of copyright...that get clarified with the paid version on this AI platform. It is a thought but I do not want to lose this procedure of creating ....of course there more than one ways to take advantage of this new technology...you say we are doomed...if seen as an opponent, AI is a truly difficult one...The song is great, lyrics first and then the musical production. We do have to explore though what is coming, I think you did very well to check out a bit.
My best wishes for a Happy New Year!

great comment Anthony, I remembered your track there was also a couple of AI tracks on this week, the technology is clever and will get better, but human creativity cannot be matched by a Robot, when i first heard what Suno had done, i was like wow, but i've had a few listens now, and it just feels generic, Im pissed i didn't just put it on the back burner until i had a fresher idea, the only thing this proved to me was my lyrics sound good coming from the pro side, my son said you need to work with a young vocalist dad your song writing is incredible, he said this track sounds so pro, i will not use it again tho' to be truthful since i uploaded it has permanently niggled the back of my mind, Im better than this, i keep telling myself, this is not the impression i want to leave, the comments are generous but its all about AI, dime will be back for New Year the style you love only bigger and louder lol, that's me

oh....oh no....not you too, Paul.
I will now spend the rest of the evening in mourning, calls will be forwarded to voicemail.

Well, I'm joking (Mostly) but I will be honest with you, as I always am - U dont and will not ever need A.I. in your music, my friend. The sad truth that almost everyone glosses over is this - This A.I. "assisted" tech will only be needed by the millions of kids and young men and women who have no musical inclination whatsoever but have been convinced by shady ass companies like Cymatics that they have a future in music and will be rich in 90 days or less....as long as they use this A.I. horseshxt and spend $300 on every generic and useless Production suite that they release every 3 or 4 weeks. That is why we already have a hard time being heard when we truly deserve to be - we exist in an exhausting flood of A.I. assisted mediocrity that is being pushed by those poor souls that have been scammed, and it's at the expense of you, and me, and DanMed, and KayOs, and RitaJustRita, Flat2Forge, Valvedriver. Rabber Sound, Anthony Attard, Darren Hirst, Cyberflares, and all the other beautifully talented folks that Ive grown to love and respect over the years. As u know, I was once part of a record label called Rave Music, out of Poland....and I am no longer. what is happening now is a huge part of why I parted ways with the label, and left the easy path and chose the long and difficult path instead. I was shown a glimpse of the future and I did not like it. I only wish that i could protect all of you guys from it, you are deserving of better.
anyway, you rule Paul. Love u man. Sorry for the rant.
dimestop
dimestop replied 29th Dec 2025 - 4 months ago
Aaron your rant is fine, it wont be happening again AI is not creative, it was all my stuff and it was just a try but it is not the journey I will take again, it feels like cheating even tho I only used it as a resource, it was lazy on my part. I will get rid of it once I master my next. Hopefully in the next couple of days, I didnt get in to music to use AI your right, Im better than that and yes I feel like I let everyone down so give me the stick and beat me with it, this will never happen again I assure you. Ive just purchased the FL KEYS 61 midi but have to wait for delivery 2 fuckin months I can get it in 5-7 days for extra 50 quid, Ill just wait tho it only cost £177. And it integrates seamlessly with FL Studio plug it in and it sets it all up for ya apparently but Im looking forward to using it, the reviews are excellent, the one flaw is it has a tiny screen but thats not a deal breaker cos Ill just be using my laptop screen anyway
