nice work - this is very strong and yeah, you picked a winner to play the guitar on this - i like the steady rollin feeling - good highway stuff here!!

Allen! Dude...you rocked it out! Very nice! My wife said... "yeah I always thought that song had an 80's feel to it"!! That's why I called it "Rock Lives" ft AllenV ...I love it though man! As you said the quality is a little low but then there is another quality about it that overrides it. I think it sounds good for what it is. Keep it up.

Thanks Man! Like your name suggests, we learn from our mistakes...or we gain knowledge from our lack of it! I've been going through my old stuff and wanted to post some for review. My newer stuff is a lot more polished, but I wanted some of the newer and younger people to see a progression that comes with time and experience!

This is a very plesant track to listen to, very relaxing. I have no suggestions on how to better this track. It seems quite fine as it is.

Hey Thanks man! This song actually hasn't been mixed or mastered, the compression probably comes from the factory sounds in the Digitech GNX3 guitar workstation I use.

I love the scratchin, hella tight. This beat would be so good with vocals. The flute and piano , and the baseline are perfect. What is that windsound at like 1;06? It sounds cool

Thanks Becca! The sound @ 1:06 is actually the same breathy "cuckoo" sound in the main body of the song with a bit of compression and a bunch of reverb to it to give it an "airy" feel. All from Reason 4 factory sound and refill packs.

Great use of special effects over a somewhat errie backing track. Lots to get the mind going with respect to imagery. If you have the time, let me know what you think of my Tracks Xerxe's Advance and More Time Parts 1 and 2. I did a similiar kind of thing with them as you did with this track.

Thanks Spiv! I was really surprised that the scratching came out as well as it did, when I was recording it I couldn't really feel it.But when I played it back, it was there I guess. I decided to scratch it because the song originally reminded me of one of Qberts backing tracks. For anybody that doesn't know who DJ Qbert is...search him on youtube and be AMAZED!
