REeal nice scratch on a real kool beat man i'm really diggin it you got some real talent with it bro..if u get a chance check out the track i collabed on with Bubu its called Triple six its got some scratch on it, i know you'll like it..
Great use of special effects over a somewhat errie backing track. Lots to get the mind going with respect to imagery. If you have the time, let me know what you think of my Tracks Xerxe's Advance and More Time Parts 1 and 2. I did a similiar kind of thing with them as you did with this track.
Thanks again R! I didn't think anybody would like this one. It was my second track I did when I got reason, so I was still a little green and just trying to figure it out.
Thanks Spiv! I was really surprised that the scratching came out as well as it did, when I was recording it I couldn't really feel it.But when I played it back, it was there I guess. I decided to scratch it because the song originally reminded me of one of Qberts backing tracks. For anybody that doesn't know who DJ Qbert is...search him on youtube and be AMAZED!
Thanks Dub, That means a lot to me coming from you! Your stuff is sick!! I love "Tabla"... that's what I'm talkin about. Can't wait to hear that with a vocal track.
Thanks John! Man I have been trying to do this song justice for 5 or 6 years now! Lol! I originally had a lead guitar track, and a vocal track for it. But the way I recorded them, they ended up bounced on the same track. I got sick of hearing my nasaly voice on it so i just axed that track. I hope somebody on here hears it and comes up with somethong good for it so I can put this f'in thing to bed! It was the reason I strated writing and composing production music in the first place, cuz it reminded me of a sports backing track.
Hey Allen, thanks man! I thought I was the only "non-20's" guy on here! I love your profile comment on what your music sounds like! It's hard to break out of that when it's whats in your blood. When did straight up rockin the freak out go out of style? Listen to "Local Hero" and see if you feel a lead in your bones for it (another track screaming for vocals!)Love your work, man!
Hey thanks. I think it needs a vocal track to wrap the music around and give it a little more framework (and direction). Wish I knew a good rapper that had some words for it!
