Yes, in a few moment, I'll change the power of my productions. It's a problem with me, I never listen loud music. I think (maybe I'm wrong), that if I want to analyze a music, I cant do that if it's too much loud.
But sometimes it's necessary. I agree with You.
Thanks.

I'm terrible, I always want to mix different things wich seem not to fit together. Experimentation is my way of life.

You like injecting funk into most of your work right? Because of the songs I've heard of yours, they all have a very loose, funky feel. This was fun to listen to, and as to the final line of your song description - yes, this is good.

Hello, thanks for replying.
Yes, I like Funk, Jazz and rock. What is closed to dancing goes well for me. In Funk, I find in such a way a dialog between the instruments, and this music can be used in a lot of compositions.
Good analyse.

Hey, instrumentally divine funky stuff. Beat in a funky rhythms would deserve to be a bit louder and thicker. It remembers me .. when thinking about atmosphere like a motion track to a funny game or something in a recession way. Structure is in parts not holding a basic line. There are too much of stops, fills etc. It brings a little bit chaos. Still nice job.

Thanks for your observations. I agree with you about global the vision of this piece. It's a body for working on it. Maybe one day I'll re arrange all. I see that for everyone in the different appreciations for a same piece, the replies are very interesting. Each one has his own sensitivity, feeling.
More poeple have different points of views, more I appreciate.
Thank you for this, and continue to create.

Surprisingly this reminded me of some DnB, but without much of the Drum and Bass...Does that make sense? Nice mix of instruments, it took me on a peculiar journey.

I'm sure that for every song it's possible to create a new interpretation, changing rythm or instrument but to appropriate the music for ourselves..

What a groovy piece! It has a perfect mix of digital and realistic sounding parts. I'm assuming you played VIA Midi. I enjoyed this!
danbo
danbo replied Unknown
Thanks for replying. This piece is build with Wav loops.
But, in this case, there are no midi sources.
The most difficult thing to do is to arrange. Whe nsome melodies are missing, I take my Yamaha Keyboard and I develope my MIDI loops.
Soon.

just what i would have done here; for the very beginning, i wouldnt have those drum hits until after the acoustic kit came in. maybe have the full drum breakbeat (that the hit comes from) on for a bit longer at some point (cause its pretty awesome).

take what you will from my suggestions, but you have acheived your goal here

Hello, thanks for replying.
I see what you mean. If you wish the drum beat, and if you want it, please, send me you mail address at koomky@free.fr.
Its contained in a pack I have bought at Sony music corporation.

I like this, the pads give a nice relaxing feel and the drums give the tension, just like your description. Thought the guitar sample at the end was cool, nice track danbo!

on Blues In my Voice by danbo
Hey, no one has reviewed this, huh. It is a cool bit of blues but the volume is very low on it, is it possible to increase the volume a bit and update it? Did you play any of the instruments on this? Interesting track, I'll check out some more.

This is a really creative track! I like how subtle the different elements are! I love that organ line, but I'm always a sucker for organs! Real funky stuff, nice work!
danbo
danbo replied Unknown
Thanks for your words.
I like difficuties, and in this case, I was a lot afraid about the placement of each instrument.
But if you have a good listening, you can hear that all the rythms are not exactly the same, I was obliged to cut my piece for each instrument and to stick them as well as possible.
Technically hard, melodically as good as possible.
Pfff, i'm happy to finsh it.

You have to know that I like creating variations all along my pieces. The most difficult is not to had the music in my head, but to realise it. If I have not the files, I produce them with my Yamaha keybord (MIDI channel). But the job is never finished. I listen to my music around 20 or 30 times making modifications in tempo or in the choice of instrument.
But finally, even if many efforts are given, the result is also difficult to obtain.
For me, the job is NEVER finished, and perfection is impossible.
Thanks much

This is exactly such a music I like much, where melody is beteween dancing and listening (like a car, or you want to see it 'cause it's so beautiful, or you want to try it, to have a taste).
Thanks

the more i hear your music the more interesting it becomes
danbo
danbo replied Unknown
Thanks Michael_Strokes, but what I launch on this site has to be light, 'cause of the weight of the files (max 5 Mo). The original music (it's the case for all) is longer and richer, because there are other instruments palying and many diffÃÂrent sounds giving a special space to it.
It's possible to hear this a my sell space on http://nicrunicuit.free.fr.
You'll see the difference.

Very interesting. I admit I don't listen to a lot of jazz, but I really dig the changes and variation in this, you never know what's going to happen next.
The beat you used at 2:05 has also been used by Enigma (on their track "Morphing Thru Time") - may I ask where you found that sample? I've been dying to get my hands on that loop for years!
danbo
danbo replied Unknown
Thanks for your review.
THe beat comes from a licenced music I have bought at Sony Music. It's building of loops made with ACID music.
If you have this software or a free version, give me you mail address, I'll send you the masterpiece remixed by the musicians of Sony (which is really a beautiful composition).

Thank you for replying. Yes, I like make a lot of researches in music, because, out of painting or making other artistical things, I find it's exactly the way of my life in which I can transform my emotions in something which is I.
I think that it is the right way where I can find the right "words-notes" or "wotes".
Thanks for listening.

enjoy/kill - love/hate - really i think you are beyond that constricted spectrum - hell, even if 'i' as a construct don't 'like' a particular track or a sound within that track there is always something of greater interest occurring - hypercontextual as always
danbo
danbo replied Unknown
Yes, I agree with your opinion. I've discovered that what we love or not depends on humour, and the situations we live at a precious time.
Don't worry, Enjoy/kill means also :"Yes, today, I'm (not) able to listen to this or that...
Thanks
