I like creating a movement in my compositions, which evoluate from the bigenning to the end. I try not to keep the same sounds, but the same melody, the same philosophy, as if I wanted to write a story.
This is an interesting mixture of elements - but the sound level is way too low - I could hardly hear this on full volume! By the way it's the first time I've heard a loop I created used in a song!
Hello! Happy using your work. What is difficult is to know who makes the loops when I produce a music. So, Each time I can thank everyone, and by way, it's the case here.
For the volume, I'll change it for the next time. But after, send me a reply to know if you listen well!
Thanks for replying...and for the loops !
Like Nick said, loving all the irregularities on this! I wonder despite of so many variations how this track sound so amalgamated. Well done. And thanks a lot such a peaceful track. Superb.
this is warm and comedic / almost slapstick to these ears. it is a contrast to a track of yours i recently characterized as 'cold' and probably the better term to have used then would be konstructivist. i think the contrast is that here there is a 'character' to follow (the clav) that provides comment and counterpoint. This would have worked for me even without the the wonderful description, but dreaming of the unattainable girl amps it up.
i really appreciate the many musical facets your tracks offer!
Thanks a lot Michael_Strokes or listeneing
Not obvious to place an atmosphere (it takes a time), and to place a suggestion by the lead guitar and the wind instruments.
Yes, I recognize that it's different from my other productions.
But, here, I am not really satisfaid by the result, 1) because the sound rendering is not really beautiful, I have difficulties to ste the tones, 2) because I wanted to compose a line with with Yamaha keyboard, but I have connection problem with my computer. It 'll be for a next moment.
Thanks much
Hello Danbo, thanks for reviewing my track Blues Jam 2. I came to visit your site and found very interesting things. This one in particular caught my attention, it is too good, like avant garde art piece. Another reviewer put it correctly, surprise is the main element here, you don´tknow whats going to happen next and the state of mind varies with every passing minute. If I could compare with something, I would say Revolution 9 of the Beatles, only this is more kind and subtle, which is definitely good. The only bad thing is that the trrack is not longer. I would vote for an extension :))
Thank you for our kind words.
I'va a philosophy in life : Every thing hide an other. So, I explore as I can the possibility of the melody, and the sounds.
Yes ,the pieces hers are really short, 'cause of the files'weight (max 7Mo).
When I'll have time, I'll developpe almoste of these and others I have.
Thanks and good work.
the ambient sound of this track is fine its quite sureal almost dream state like, but the vocals for me just dont go, thats not a critcsm just a personal choice, for me i would have left it as an instramental but its your project so for that reason i respect it. good luck in all you do stay blessed, best wishes always D. :0)
Hey!
Yes, I agree a lot with you. I'll use the background for a future music. Here, I wanted to joke with a voacl which was really not adapted for this.
Don't worry, I think it will be the first and last proposal.
Thanks for replying. I enjoy listening your productions !
I really like that raw deep bass you have. Some of these sections are stunning, not entirely sure on the transition at some places, but generally i like what you have done. Its definitely different.
The string sections are stunning. did you make them? or are they samples?
it sounds almost cinematic at times. excellent work.
I agree with you about the transitions. I'd difficulties to merge some instruments without making too hard breaks. This work will be revisited when I'll have the time, and when I'll have my new speakers.
In this song, I haven't produce the loops, I do this only when I can't find them (I'm a little bit lazy)
Thanks for listening.
You did a great job of capturing a very classical feel with the melodies. I like the sequenced drums trown in there, especially the electro beat that comes in around 1:15. Crazy ride my friend, very experimental. Nice playful, Creepy atmosphere.
Thanks for your words.
Know that I've listened a lot classical music in which many modern groups 'pump' ideas. In this way, always trying to keep or render such a melody which is pleasant, I also make effort to get out of the standard composition, if I can write this. But, what makes me happy is that there are many poeple creating with an astonished sense of the composition.
i think your music is some of the best stuff going and really admire your work, so i will step out a little and say i find this is a disturbing piece - cold and architectural - a triumph of the will that separates the heart from the cerebrum. i love it.
EDIT: Far, far from mechanical - only a human could sound so strangely turmoiled.
Please do bear in mind that these comments are observations on one specific track - i find that your music (certainly including this track) provides many insights on the spectrum of the human condition.
Hey!
How do you analyse this! I'm surprised, but it's really that ! I'm an orientalist in my way of life, and an european for the way of living in my daily life.
Yes, here is in such a way, a contrast of 2 ways I live together.
It's difficult to integrate emotion in music if this music id too much mechanical. I try to let some human presence, even if it's not obvious.
Thanks for your kind words.
Thanks for your kind words.
In such a way, I live creating happenings in my musics, only not to make the listeniers sleeping (joking).
Yes ,its was not easy to do, but I find sometimes that instruments or pieces which don't seem going together have someway an interest to work together. It's like a research with the sounds.
Thanks for replying.
I enjoy building this. The rythm and the instruments were not easy to mix, but it renders something more funky, yes, I agree, but the spirit is jazzy.
Thanks for listening.
Oh, you love Zappa :... you are welcome !
Piano is my favourite instrument...and the others also.
The arrangement was not obvious there. I tried more then ten times different approaches of this composition to draw a line and to obtain the present result.
Thanks for replying
Thanks.
It's was really not obvious to connect the different loops and to keep such a line from the beginning to the last note.
I enjoyed using the loops of Califken.
Close to classic music, but introducing modern rythms and percussion, I tried to make it listening differently.
:) This bumps, pumps and makes me tap and dig. Love the keys, the rhodes sound and the clavinet. And how odd it might seem, it makes me remember tv shows like Baretta and Kojak. Great stuff.

Yes lots of work. Also, need to take time to place all the elements. I've a Schimmel classic piano. I would like to use when I'll a moment.
