Thank you Acidizer,Your right about it being conservative...it was a little intentional.There are more songs in the works and I think they may push a little farther so we held back some to keep a simple vibe noing this would not be the only tune in the same piano guitar style so I appreciate that you heard that and it was a call based on what is going to come...kinda like a prelude...plus I'm running low on guitar licks...lol

Thank you Screenplay!The live thing was fun to do...I find it get's harder to change up the acoustics by themselves so I gotta think of something different...Maybe acoustic trance or deep house unplugged...hmm..:)

Thanks Vicen,I love your description and I do see these things when it comes to acoustic guitar songs,they become a story all by themselves for me and I try to picture what is felt when I name the song.I felt as the tempo increased I was getting closer to home,which I started with the previous acoustic track The Road Home.

Hey Chris!This is a special song for me and I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
I think a vocal would be good...I started looking for my project files so I could remove the lead just in case someone wanted to sing and of course they're gone lol..but I could record the parts with leads again if I had to if they got in the way.

Thank you Daniel.I would like to say that I worked very hard for days to create the guitar sound but the truth is I didn't.I used the Tascam DP-008 digital 8tr pocket studio,it has two small built in mics but they do a great job,I sat on my couch and placed the recorder on the arm of it,turned the lights down and played.It really has quality for a 8r under 300$,it runs on 4AA also...which is nice and portable,it is very small.
You are the first person to mention the title...I plan on doing a series of acoustic songs to document this journey as it unfolds,those songs have to definitly be inspired.
Thanks again Daniel and check out that recorder on youtube..I should do a commercial for them as much as I talk about their product...lol.

I didn't go into it with the live idea but after I recorded the guitar parts together..four of them,it just felt that way and I was trying to find a way to keep it from being just another all guitar song,there's only so many ways to change it up...at least for me.I did turn to theHumps for advice on my idea so if it didn't work I was just gonna blame him lol.
Yea,that's me talking...my family thought I lost my mind cause nobody was there...I thought they were gonna cart old dad away!but my son said it would be cool if someone did a whole album,with crowd interaction and all,for fun of course.

Thank you IWE.Your comments always mean a lot from your guitar perspective.You know the live thing was a complete after thought..I had recorded two acoustic songs and this sounded like those live recordings where they all sit around and jam... with all the string and pick noise,so rather than keep fighting against that I decided to dive in and expand on it...not as a joke but to try to bring that intmate feeling of being there.

This site is like a field of talent just waiting to be harvested.I've found a lot of people wanting a vocal and while they are waiting...might as well have a nice instrumental,and why not...I get to play and now there's hopefully a better track that might just get that vocal they wanted to begin with.

I appreciate your wonderful complement but have to say that I really strive to be an addition to these already great songs and give them only what they need in the way of my guitar.I heard the beauty of the song before I even played on it so you can imagine what it was like recording...I did not sleep and it was a joy.
