Man i remember you from quite the while back. before the loop shut down and (slightly) upgraded and what not. dunno if you remember me but yea anyways, this does have a tad bit of resident evil influence in it. Just played that "operation raccoon city" a little while ago. alot of people are NOT liking the new direction the resident evil series is taking. i personally like that game. haven't played 5 or 6 yet. Number 4 for the gamecube was definitely my fav one though. But yea solid track though brudda. keep it up the works! peace
Yeah, I was away from music for a while also while looper was down. I plan on getting back into it more. Nice to hear from ya. Guess I should stroll over and see what music you've been up to.
I think I only ever really played half of the fist installment of that game myself but I really liked the music they used in all of them. Also, thanks for digging my music.
This is a really nice cinematic piece that would be right at home in a movie or as a soundtrack on a video game. Nice dynamics, great tempo and progression changes throughout, and a piece that shows a great deal of thought.
Overall, I would have to say this is an outstanding effort and one you should be proud of. I enjoyed it immensely.
More and more I'm thinking most of the music do or want to do tends to lean to the cinematic side as of late. Unfortunately, I just noticed listening to this track I missed exporting about 3 mins. on the end of the song due to a corrupted file. Still sound good the way it is so I'll just make another song of the other 3 mins. I guess.
Thanks, I haven't done much in music in quite some time so it was nice to put something together. If you like this one you might also like the first jazzish song I did called Minute jazz. Thanks for diggin my noise.
It's been a while, my friend, I hope you're doing well. Can't believe I haven't checked this piece out until now. Track moves along well and makes for a most enjoyable listen.
got a bit of an x files vibe when it first began. Could def be on an x files cd. Wasn't expecting the sitars at all, but a very nice touch and well executed. Same with the fiddles. Ending was a bit abrupt :-), but.........
Thanks John. Might be a while to I get back round to working on it though. Caught up in two new songs at the moment. Sometimes I have to distance myself from a song to gain better perspective as to whe I wan tot go with it.
At the moment this is just an experimental track and not fully thought out. I plan on having much longer tracks with the binaural less noticeable perhaps in the future. Not really sure I have the whole binaural thing down. Need to study it more. That's the fun of experimentation. Yes with ADHD, meditation and relaxation is much different for me. So are the ways to achieve it.
Thanks John, glad you liked it. The vocals are actual excerpts from Mel Gibsons rant floating about on the web. Eventualy I'll get around to doing some vocal work.
I like the track, it is very good, but there appear to be times when it kind of fades out quite a bit like around 2:53 and a couple times before and after.
Thanks for the listen and positive feedback John. Unfortunately this song is not so new. I made it about six or seven years ago I think. I would update it as I recently found the file. Alas, it was from my old computer and I don't have most of the old drum loops.
That's funny. I wish I would have checked that out before I made that song. Things might have came out different. Who knows perhaps I'll do another with a similar premise.
Thanks. Glad everyones getting a good laugh from it. I love a good laugh. Maybe I should have added Christian Bale into the song with his rant too. ha ha
Ha ha your funny Danbo. I'm sure I'll be making more tracks in the future that are not along these lines. Mel Gison? Not so sure. I just made this kind of sound to go with the gritty vocals I found online. I can see a lot of funny comments coming from this track. Awesome!
I guess the Signs show he really didn't know What Women Want. Sounds like this Maverick is out for Payback though. I should have named this track The passion of the fruit. Mel call works though. Funny how Mel sounds like a screemo singer.
Thanks for the listen. Just testing the waters as I have not tried anything like this in a long time. Acoustic/orchestral/cinematic sound that is. Every bit of this is midi loops. I was working a lot on not having it sound like midi as much. Thanks again for the listen.
