love the guitar Man,I have to ask if you play..doesn't say you do in your bio but this is really hot either way cause you had to put it together and did so very well.
I used to play when I was a kid. Nothing more than learning the major cords and some strumming. These are all loops in this song. Although, through the power of the computer I have arranged some notes here and there to sound like I'm playing guitar from time to time. Thanks for the great review.
Spooky sound. I like it.. upbeat with the tribal, but still dark and thought-provoking. What's lurking back in those layers of tribal beats? :D I like what you do at close to 1:50, nice touch and it only gets better.
Yeah, this was one of those kinda cool kinda dark song for me. Still not sure about the bass heartbeat thing toward the end though. Then again it's been years and I don't plan on trying to find the original file. Thanks for digging my music.
Thanks. It's a shame I don't do more automation like that these days. I suppose I will have to start up with it again even know I do most of my recording in surround sound.
Sympathitic to listen. I think that if you bring in front of the scene the organ melody, you could create a new melody.
Your guitar choices are really interesting to listen.
Good
Thanks for the listen. Not sure I'll ever get back around to messing with this old song. It was more of me learning and enjoying a program than anything else.
I really wanted to make a metal song and this is more or less what became of it. I was happy how the two different bass sounds worked out in this. Old song with less structure than I use now. Still a fun learning song. Thanks for checking it out.
This music makes me thinking to a work in progress as if you are looking for the right way for you melody.
Maybe it's true.
I like hearing when poeple try without having any idea. It's in these moments where the musician can come back, they find THE MELODY.
This tune has such a sick vibe. Its cinematic, dance, electronic. It's just alot in one track. I could see belly dancers. Lots of belly dancers lol. Has a real nice sub kick in there that just pumps up real good. Stings that caught me were the koto. Used alot of them on some tunes, but these sounded way cooler. Really good speed and bends. Really good. Drums were also really good. Theres moments were it feels like the drums and strings ride in syncopation then they dont, that's just something other worldly. Gonna end the rant with very sweet tune and cheers. DL and Faved :D
Yes it is a bit loud. The previous version I have on here is not though. I do feel I may have gone a bit overboard with said loudness on this track. Thanks for the listen and constructive criticism.
pizzicato, gamelan, aco bass - i got all four feet in the LIKE camp - the drm sound is kinda trite tho and could use yr six fingers! always dig your sounds - peace.
Yeah, kinda forgot to go back and make the drums more interesting. Got caught up in all the rest of the song. I most likely should have taken more than the two days it took to make it and planed it out more. All in all though it's tolerable to listen to.
Yeah, made most of the song yesterday, then mixed down and finalized it today. It's more popish in some spots than is my normal style. Just a weird amalgamation of sound. Something different.
Yeah mate this is a great track! :) I really enjoy the mood and feel of it.
I agree with taking out some vocs. A little to much. but very nice.
I would also consider this more Electronic maybe even Chill than Dance.
keep it up
Thanks. I'm thinking of dropping almost all the vocals and adding more ambient sounds. Either that or fix the vocals to fit to the rhythm and sound of the song so that it sounds right.
You know when you mentioned it I had totally forgot that I had any in this song. I always focus on the guitar and main beat when I hear the song. This song always reminds me of the Shimmy exercise show. Guess I kinda had that visual in my head when I made this track too.
