Is Brap a skinny puppy reference? I haven't heard that word in a while! I'm liking this track, though the intro is a little long. Weird vocals, but they work good in this musical setting! Nice bass line! Great track!
Second Review:
Beat is much better. Nice mids you got there.
Nice effects! Bass has much more punch!
Wicked revamp bruv, good on yah!
Everything is sounding s lot better.
Good on yah man, keep it!
Steve
This is a fun track! I like the basses a lot! I didn't hear the older version, but you're well on your way to having a great track here! I like the vocal clips you've used too! Awesome work!
i would agree with gsusfrk your bass level to me is a bit high but the tune is great i love the intro your beats are nice and clear that is a nice drop in the beginning overall this is a great track fav'd for sure bro
Nice one...
But what i will did with this ..
I think This will be better With some reggae vibs
i just love the Jungle
and in this track i hear Jungle
PEACE xd
Ez bruv, tunes nice, beat is crisp and clear, but mid levels in the beat are missing. Maybe dim the higher, and boost the mid, high-mid and low-mid to get a punchier beat. Subtract some compression, the groove is missing a little.
Low bass level is good, but the growling bass needs a little eqing (IMO) maybe adding (trial and error) 200-1,500hz. Cause it seems like there's frequencies mixing in the beat and the bass.
Don't know if this helps, but I think it's making or breaking the tune. It's no doubt a good song, just needs a little revamping.
Thanx dude! what an excellent review! thats exactly what i wanted to hear :^) I've been umming and ahhing over the beat on this for a while, EQ here i come! Safe , Gav . . . . . . right done quite a bit more to this :^) please let me know what you think of this version, peace, Abel
yeah man nice! Not really my taste but its got a great sound dude. Perfect name and a track well done.
All I use is Cubase as well. Mine is 5 which do you use?
keep it up bro!
I like very few tracks here on looperman but wow, this is great! I've never used cubase but I'm guessing it's not easy, so this is amazing for a first.
tripstep, a mix between dubstep and trip hop. i think that more accurately describes the genre this should go under. it sounds great as it is, love how it drops from the pad into the wobbles. drums sound real good. to get a more dubstep sound, i think if you turned the wobble into a bass wobble, and maybe put a synth or two over that with that pad from the beginning. also, take out the breaks in the drums, unsettles the rhythm too much (leave the kick rolls).
Very Nice! The intro is nice an frilly, then the Bass comes in to destroy everything. To me I see Like a big evil pacman monster eating everythin up! And then the feeble lead comes back in to do battle after a heart wrenching defeat. Once again he is laid a rest. poor little guy, HA ha! The drums sound great.. Very groovy and epic track, Friend!
Alreet Dj Abel, I like what your doing bruv. Now what I am writing is absolutely my own opinion and I am only writing it from one producer to another, as constrictive criticism. I listened to your track 5 times+
As it is, as a breakbeat track, it's a little bit empty and not broken beat enough, the amen loop could be cut up, missed beats (jazz style) even if its just the last bar as a cue. I was half expecting the synth (opening and closing) to be re jigged for the main outing but when it dropped back in 2:14 (i think) it was the same beat and a little anti climax, I was kinda expecting a huge build up for it and a little spice thrown in for good measure, when it re drops at 4:20 it is more of what I expected the first time around.
Please do not take offence to my review. This is a great track and I only give such detailed reviews of songs I like. This one could be special bruv.
Yes yes bad man, really liking this... sounds fresh and up beat, a nice balanced DnB track, maybe a little more sub bass, pretty please. Off to check out your other tracks.

The only thing i would say personally is when you have a cut and the bass kicks in to get the volume pumping more by upping the compression!
