Groovy track, with an awesome intro! Really solid beats and bass! I like the choir sounds and all the sound effects you've used! This is really well arranged and mixed. Very nice work!
your beats are powerful i love the reece its does sound a bit generic but i think overall structure still a nice tune though i look forward to hearing it finished.......peace bro
i have a new dnb tune called subkiller when you get time check it out bro you will like it
hey bro nice samples you can relate the tune to the films way cool and there are some nice powerful beats in there as well. the start of the tune is scary bro this one is going into my fav's cool track 10-10
Yeah m8.... I think you are on the right track with this. and your levels sound good. I love the diversity in your reese's I'm assuming you got a hold of a spectrum analyzer?? Those combi patches help you out at all?
Hi Jon, Many thanks for those patches! extremely well created :^) and the spectum analyzer works a treat!! respect!! I guess i,ve just gotta get my creative head on and put some hours into this one!!
there are some nice ideas here brother.. good use of samples.. your bass is nice paced and well compressed nothing seem to be out of place, having said that it does at times sound like the drums are tucked in behind it which may mean the sub is compressing the whole drum sound at a guess... the track is nice well produced but it is quite generic... similar to the sound you'd hear again and again in the dnb genre.. so for me it needs a little something to separate it from the crowd if ya know what I mean? keep 'em coming brother
this is awesome. if you let me use the synth on this one i could make a sick rap track but thats probably not what your in to. but anyways i love this song and it is probably one of the best on the site so yeah a new fav. should have more listens/downloads/favs so i will hype the hell out of you!!!!
Wicked man!! thanks alot dude :^) How do you want the main synth? the whole pattern or just a c3 note?
either way thats fine with me bro :^) let me know and drop me ur e-mail and i'll sort it for you,
Safe, Abel
wow powerful tune bro well mastered i love this the bass sounded heavy on my speakers brought out the best in my sub woofers lol keep it up bro 10-10 respect
yes yes dirty base breaks ,nice jobs on the beats mate cool old school base line top quality production as always total respect puting as fav wheres the downlooad ?

Thanks ya'll much appreciated :^) This ones bein released so no download :^( But i can sort you a freebie if you let me know yer e-mail address :^)
Safe Abel.
originality is a really loose term, so dont worry. just going down the list of dubstep, this really stands out for its mood. most dubstep has a dark tone, this one is upbeat and pretty fun to listen to. it is true that the wobble is a rather standard one, but getting an interesting wobble bassline is always a big problem when it comes to dubstep.
i might seem crazy saying this, but maybe you should turn the wobble down a little. i think chud was trying to say that the lead synth makes this peice (if you know what i mean) so we want to hear more of it
ive noticed that some people on looperman can be a bit [what i hope is unintentionally] CeeUNextTuesdayYeah: especially hard on those just starting out in what they consider their genre of expertise, for lack of a better term. there are many different types/variations of dubstep; it is a quickly expanding genre. i heard the first version of this track, and i think you are progressing leaps and bounds. not all dubstep synth has to be groundbreaking. if thie levels are tight and the arrangement is solid, i dont see whats wong with a more simple synth. but again, ALL comments received are opinions based on personal preference.
keep it up. youve got the skills...
Wicked, thanks for those words of encouragement, it's nice to hear impartial advice and views as well as criticism. But i'm happy with either as it means people are taking the time to listen to my stuff :^) Safe, Abel
I find this quite funny actually, its almost a piss take of dubstep, at least, i dunno, the lead synth just makes me laugh abit. (Not in a derogatory way). But yes the drums are good you have a lot of stuff going on in the background and I think the answer to your question is Yes it is dubstep, but I would either go all the way with the lead synth (and dont ask me what i mean by that because i dont know) or scrap it and work on a more interesting bassline, because the one you have here really doesnt do anything for me and its just a typical very easy boring synth that you hear on nearly everyone's first dubstep track. Dont worry, i make exactly the same too, you can go back and check, they are still on looperman :P
But your drums are very good. It suggest's to me that you've been playing around with music for a while? Theres some really good sounds in there that take practice to get done right and so I think once you get some decent synths down your then able to put your drums behind them and you'll be well on your way. :)
Ha ha! I get that feeling to! I couldn't really get a vibe from this piece apart from the drums and fx :) Yeah i've been making music for quite a while now but have pretty much ignored the dubstep genre, i've probably only listened to half a dozen dubstep tracks in my life!! so my knowledge of the style is quite basic :^) hence the soppy attempt at a bassline lol! I mostly make breaks/drum&bass and chill out with a few attempts at house/techno, I guess I need to have a proper listen to some dubstep to get the drift!! Do you have any recomendations ? I will of course check out a few more of your tunes and review, d'you wanna return the favour?? I appreciate your honesty :^)
very good song. definately dubstep material. you should work on this some more, it starts to get good, then it ends. i'd like to hear the finished product!!
yo stop man ya need to make ya own beat to be original!!!!! thats beat is of a drumz sample pack i have hre. nice noizes and that but are they yours. sorry for being so straight forward but to be original for me you have to make a tune from scratch not put some one elses beat through a gross beat machine. start a fresh man. with your own stuff.
carry on, sir...carry on!
this is a cool dubstep electro mix. love your synth work on this. mad solid drums as well. youve got a playful lil wobble in teh background. i would only suggest letting it come forward a bit more, shine as the star of the piece at times. this is a great start to what could be a really cool piece.
nice work!
Jep ! This is DubStep Mate And A Reall Nice One For Ure First Try ! And It Got Track Potential. But.... Don't Worrie So Much What Other People Think Of Ure Style Mate ! Just Carry On And Make Ure Own Thing ! Be Original Like U Are Being In This Beat
yo the drums rock, real live, was about to say dont know if i would call it drum in bass then it kicked in...it might just need some vocal layers to sound more complete...but what do i know
