Hey, this has a nice feel to it, I think it maybe could be with a vocal more of an RnB/HipHop track you know. I'd really like to hear this with some vocal, very sweet track...
Another good one. I'm yearning for a little processing to add some punch and loudness, but's that the only suggestion I can give. Catchy tune and interesting percussion line. If you'd like send me an email and I could master this one for you and show you the difference. This is a happy song and a great Dance track. Deserves a wider audience. Very nice.
Being a musician, I loved the chords and the arrangement of the piano keys. I like the change and was surprise on how the arrangement went. Good track indeed.

Devodale is such an asset in every sense of the word, isn't he? He does a weekly streaming radio show on Mixposure.com starting 4 PM (PST) on Fridays should you want to hear his voice - lol (hope you see my plug here sometime, Dale).
First, I've just got to say hearing your own development is amazing! I really liked your Tudor track (the first I heard), but comparing the two is really a trip! You've gotten really good at this medium! And it's been such a short time as well.
On my second listen, I keep trying to hear this with the "if this track was mine" lens to offer up some constructive criticism. On the one hand, I'd love to hear a solo melody, perhaps in strings (guitar, cello, sitar?) floating in and out of this, HOWEVER I'm pretty sure that if you did that, you'd lose the wonderful Chillout qualities going for this one. It would become something different, and I'm not really sure that's serving the music in this case.
Chillout really is a happy vibe sub-genre of Ambient, and what you do here really emphasizes these characteristics. I can't imagine still feeling stressed out after having this track as a sonic tonic.
Wow Nomad! I wasn't expecting this kind of review...I have been searching for a genre in which I can consistantly perform well. I believe you have nailed it down for me. Thank you for inspiring me yet again.
great, absolutely great!!
very interesting choice of sounds and loops, the track delivers a lot of atmosphere combined with great drive ... that's not so easy to achieve ...
good work lady!!
You know, I discovered the ultra-shy Minette only during the 2009 All Genre Comp, and my impression then was she sounded so much like Siouxsie Sioux (Creatures and Siouxsie and the Banshies). Your use of her `pella here totally reinforces that for me once again.
Love the little wet licking sounds woven through this! Texture...ah.
this is very very nice!!!
love that drum arrangement ... great!!
and Devodale's piano is exceptional (did a collab with him a while ago ...)
I also like the clear concept you have here, and the sparingness you show in the general arrangement, nothing is overdone and every sound has enough place to work ...
good one, very good one ...
Maybe I'm biased, but it seems that there's a proclivity for blurring musical boundaries in the PacNorWest. Fuzzy boundaries r us?
Brilliant! Such a fusion of obvious traditions, but done seamlessly like they're a natural fit. For me it's what Men Without Hats would sound like if they'd kept evolving - kinda 80's dance thing happening. But the sax totally moves it off elsewhere towards those chill out zones.
Under the working definitions of Fusion, this meets all the criteria. I'm I don't know if it'd get more plays classified there, but no one would raise an eyebrow seeing it there.
Excellent mix and arrangement. Will have to look to see what software you're using, as this is really polished. Added to faves.
Fuzzy is good....ahaha Thanks for suggesting fusion. I have been pondering changing the genre to get more exposure.
You know I never thought about the Men Without Hats thing until you mentioned it. I used to love those guys. Maybe the fuzzy lines stem from age. I've lived during a time where music has evolved into so many genre that what really sounds good is a mixture of everything...hmmm Kinda like cooking....a little of this and a dash of that! ahaha
My software of choice is Acid. I used Acid 7 express (the free version) to originally make this track then remixed in Acid 7. I'm really glad you liked it.
You are good, mixing the different elements to get stunning piece, again another piece that is an absolute pleasure to listen too, Shel you do have talent from what I have heard so far of your piece's,good solid beats bass, your choice of synths are magical, and it shines through in your work, another fav piece of yours here...keep em coming okies...Peace...Estefano...
Wow...coming from you this is a real treat for me. Thank you so much for your reviews. I am always looking to improve and now I know I'm at least headed in the right direction. Thank you again.
Lol Briclayah that comment was Great... This is a real nice track... It's got a lot of different elements going on... Sounds Great though Keep up the good work.
Thank you for the review. I'm going to try some tricks that ChrissG suggested to dress it up a bit. I'll keep ya posted. btw, I like your sound. Keep it up.
This was great! Really enjoyed how you used Minette's vocal track, she has such a wonderful voice. Loved how you put this together, especially the effects on the backup vocal tracks!
This track is smooooth. Nice flow with the brass instruments. Slap sure does have some brass skills....used a loop of his before. This track kinda sounds like the music you would hear at a waiting room/restaurant bathroom lol or something but with a techno beat to it. Different sounding track for sure but Its a hit with me. Thats what I like about this site...I hear different peoples creativity every day. Nice Job
Hey this not bad i decided to check ur song out since ur new to the looperman site, this has more a chill out with techno feel but hey the song is amazing so who cares what genre its in right
