graceful, sinuous, luminous dark gliding beauty - like Tennyson sez:

Willows whiten, aspens quiver,
Little breezes dusk and shiver
Through the wave that runs for ever

This is a very special tune! I really enjoy the energy of it! The ending is kind of sudden. Awesome mixing though! I like it a lot!

on Baphomet Falls by doctorcatface
Who better to represent opposition than a pagan deity itself? And even Baphomet will fall..(I hope that's what you were going for, if not, how embarrassing..)

I must say, the overriding complexity of your tracks has captivated me! They steal you, and force thinking, not only from the music but from the philosophical words that describe all of them.. its great to see one who deviates from the usuality of music today.

“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.” but not you.. haha!

I think its fair to say there are not many producers like the catface! and its a blasted shame.

I'll be waiting for more pleasures! (:

You humble me with such words, i had to look that einstein quote up lol. I know my work isnt for everyone, but im glad you could enjoy it, and beyond that, understand its meaning.
Thank you so much.

I love the descriptions of your songs....because your music paints the same picture your words do. That's pretty rare in this day and age....the ability to convey the same thoughts through music and text.

Intensely good music.

I really like the way the guitar puts some real grime over the top of the synth, kind of like a greasy musical gravy, haha. Like Po5eidon, I would like to hear it with a more polished ending, but that is my only criticism. All in all, very nice work.

I'm doin a little catching up with you today and ... this is music in vein, it's blood and oxygen - a remarkable and humane and monstrous body of work - only a cat could have these sensibilities and truly responsible reflections and play it like this - acute aware and clawed

you see more into my notes than i could convey in thought and musing
even the word choice is strangely synchronistic with my private thought pattern
you really zeroed in
thank you

Very slick track. I kinda wanna fight to this. I just wish it had the synth and piano playing at the same time at some point, and that it had a more definitive ending. What's here is very cool, though.

never saw it like that, over sandbar or knoll, the tides push us all the same, these are tumultuous times, pulled together and apart half a dozen times, when will my capricious tide hold us together? something neither her or i can decide i guess. though fate has had its ways before...

I really appreciate that, MStokes. Ambiance was central and I put a lot of time into making it just so, because its rare that i remember dream music unless i get it down immediately, so I just HAD to make it. Though I thought that the choice of genres mashed up in it would be a big turnoff, you guys really got what i was going for. :D

Nice, nice & nice indeed Doc. This is discordant yet melodic. A very hard trick to pull off. Theres some very intresting stuff going on and it holds the ear until the very end. Quality work my friend.

Brilliant fella. Fully of energy and flows very well. As visionary said, very interesting to listen to. I could see this as a backing for a dramatic horror film of someone running from death and it finally catching them up. Awesome (lovin the voice too!)

The burst of twitchy violin is what piqued my ear. I feel if it had some staccato cello underneath it it'd be more powerful. Overall, a very good "I'm just waiting for new gear. Oh this? I made this while sleeping" track. :)

i really agree with you, listening with that in mind, 4/4 pizzicato? Or should I keep it smooth? The piano's already filling the "plucky sounding" niche.
Thank you for checking my stuff out too!

I like this DrCat. Different. I couldn't tell you if it's Grime but it is most intresting. I enjoyed the phased sounding guitars & the drums really thump along in the background. Good work my friend.
