I was reading your reply to Mark and you bought a new Tele, I'm jealous PM. Amplitube, I've been looking at that software, looks awesome. I am using a plugin called FreeAmp and it is similar to Amplitube but just not as good. Nice track man, the tone on the lead is great and well played. Always enjoy listening to you!!
Thanks, the Telecaster is a fabulous instrument and I thank my wife and kids who bought it for my 50th birthday, thus adding a new dimension to my music. It's funny how a new instrument brings out a new playing approach and tunes.
Thank you for listening and reviewing, much appreciated.

Par Magnus,
Doesn't matter that it was in Swedish because the first time I listen to the song, I focus on the melody and the meat of the song. He is getting better at singing my friend. Love the sound of your guitar on this. Good tune.
What kind of amp do you run the Strat through?
Mark.
Thank you very much for taking the time listening and commenting. And I'm grateful for the kind remarks, especially 'bout the singing part.
The guitar is actually my new Telecaster run through a really nice software amp called Amplitube. It's supposed to sound Marshall and I think it does a really nice job too. Check it out on IK Multimedia.
Again, thanks for listening.

This sounds great and is such a catchy track. I like all the different variations of reggae that is around these days. Nice recording as well, sounds really nice and clean. Always a pleasure!
Thanks Wayne, I appreciate your kind words. Way back in the eighties I wrote this kind of music for my band – greatly influenced by Dag Vag's front man Stig Vig. And I still love this type of punkish non roots reggae so it was nice to do this hommage to the man that was my main inspiration back in the days.
Again, thank you for the kind review.

Nice guitars and vocals suggestive. A gentle pace, trapped in your listening. A great sound throughout the track. I've been heard in a few minutes two wonderful songs with your incombustible composition.
Thank you very much. Stig Vig and Dag Vag were very influential in the 80ies, and had a huge impact on my songwriting. And they still do.
Again, thanks for the kind review.

Thank you for the kind words Scott. The band Dag Vag was nationally huge in the eighties and were one of, those bands that influenced me tremendously. Good music with empathy and humour packed in a short danceable song. I ended up writing that kind reggae tunes for more than 20 years.
Again, thanks for the nice review – and check out Dag Vag on spotify.
Thanks for reviewing my classic rock song. I had to come over here and see what you have put up recently.
Yeah....I like the full sound of this tune very much. I think you and your son did a very good job on this song. It is nice to be able to hear all the vocals, and not get drowned out by the music. The background vocal fit in nicely as well. Sounds like the song could be radio material.
I have a fast moving rock song that I made months ago that hasn't been released. Maybe you or your son would be interested in putting vocals to it? It is already set up to add vocals in the longer, quieter parts.
Another person is listening to it now, but if you would like to hear it, give me your E-mail address and I'll send it to you and you can think about it. Mine is:

Thanks for sharing this song, and will look forward to hearing more from you both.

It's all been said here already! Solid track showcasing good writing and playing skills - I like the classic rock sound you went for with the guitar! Nice one.
Thank you Jamie, I appreciate your kind review. There are still lots of things to be done with this track, mainly the vocal parts that needs another go. Preferably with written and rehearsed lyrics. :)
Again, thanks for the kind words.

Nicely done...song is nicely structured...has the pop rock kind of vibe & like the guitar sound...Noted your comments over on the gear forum Kikajon so had to have a listen..I have tried quite a few of the software guitar processors but nothing that makes me drool has happened yet...although I do often add that free vst Voxengo Tube Amp on an insert after recording as it does a nice job of just warming up tracks where the drive is on the edge.....good song man.....keep on....Ed
Thanks Ed, I appreciate you taking the time listening and commenting. And I'd also like to thank you for the Voxengo tip, I'll have to check that one out.
Space cowboy music!..I see a big sparkly Stetson with flashing lights!lol...great gritty chuggin tune mate..bloody good singing as well!...I dig this tune, solid bassline, good riffin and up there vocals....ticks all my R&R boxes!...cheers Planet :)
Thank you very much, pjb. The new telecaster brings out another kind of music than the strat, that's for sure. I'm very grateful for your kind words, thanks again.
And I thought Slap Johnson was the only one with talented kids....you showed me, haha. Great job by both of you. As Michael said, the fabulous Kikajon's are one of the best acts on the Loop. Loved the guitar battle at the end....EPIC rock and roll.
Outstanding effort and kudos to both of you. Keep rocking you two.
Wow, what an absolutely incredible track Kilk. I cannot imagine how proud you must be as a parent when reviewing something like this that one of your kids was instrumental in creating. A lasting memory forever encapsulated in time. Thank you for sharing this with us my friend.
Thank you, it was great fun to arrange and work with the track. Erik has a musical mind and that also gives my own music an extra push. I think it's cool to make music with the kids and even more so when they seem to want to make music with me.
Thanks again for the encouraging feedback.

Thank you very, very much. This song finally came together after that session with Jens. He's actually one of the most gifted musicians I know. You should check out his work on spotify or Itunes – Hoven Droven is the name of his band.
Again, thanks for review.

on the first bar I thought: wow, sounds like John Hiatt ... this feeling stayed throughout the song ...
some very little timing issues here and there, and the vocals are not always in the right key, but in the end this makes this track only authentic and real ... so I think it's perfect as it is!!
Thanks Rei, I really appreciate your comments and your totally right – I'm off beat and key occasionally. The vocals will be replaced – but I'm not sure by whom. I might end up doing it myself again even if I'm not a singer. ;)
I'm really pleased that you like the song, I was going for a popish rock american south touch and I guess I nailed it?
Thanks again for the kind words and the remarks, much appreciated.

Thanks Vicen. I appreciate the kind words, especially about the singing part since I don't consider myself much of a singer. I hope can lure one of my favourite singers to do the part. But after your kind words I might just do the vocals myself. :)
Yeah this is perfect! The tone on the guitar is awesome! Your vocals and lyrics are great! You have such talent! This is going to be stuck in my head all day!
Thank you Spiv. I'll rest my ears and vocal cords a bit before I make another try – I'm quite off key here and there. Nevertheless I appreciate your encouraging review and the fact that this song will follow you around today. The best compliment there is. Again, thanks.
Thank you for your kind words. I will let the song rest a day or two before I get back to it. The vocals off key here and there and I'll try to fix that. I do, however, appreciate your review very much.

you must be really proud of your son! the younger generation brings something awesome to what we already have and together a great piece of muzical art comes like this.
I am proud of him, he's got some nice ideas and it's great fun to collaborate with the kids. I've made music with all of them but he's the only one believing that he'll become a rock star. :D
Next time we meet he's going to do the vocal parts, replacing my voice so the mix will be different, but I'll keep your point in mind.
Again, thank you for taking the time and listen.
This reminds me of something, but I can't place it! That said, it's very original! You guys create well together! These guitar leads are awesome! Great work my friend!
Thanks Spiv. Everytime we meet, my son and I jam and create a new song. Most of the times he's got an idea that he needs some feedback on and we take it from there. So hopefully there will come some more songs. Thanks again for the kind review and I'll pass it on to Erik.
