Wow, blown away with the synths/keys and whatever else you used to create this. At times I was comparing it to Jaco Pastorius - Crisis, damn.
Great to see what people can do in their homes making tracks. Some of the crap that's so popular these days don't even compare to this in any way, shape or octave. It's not even funny man. Taylor Swift, gag me with a spoon. lol
Rob! Pertinent application of S.D. ALL DAY LONG'S fire talent. The parts of your track that jumped at me was, 1.The Tension throughout the track which never seemed to be resolved. Which is definately a great thing and perfect set up for a sequel (hint hint). 2. That outstanding drum track which stands on its own, then 3.THOSE OUTRAGIOUS SYNTHS!!!!!! Hands down, unequivocally you be that SYNTH HERO! OK, MIKE DROPPED LOL! Peace.
I would love to take the credit
for writing the Drums on this track
but, I just arranged and modified some
samples off Loopcloud. Thanks for the mention tho:-)
You've given me a lot to think about in respect to resolution on a track. I generally put a track together in 1 min sections and I hear each section on its own, not thinking about someone listening, and hearing it all at once. Thank you for that insight. That's a game changer.
On the Synths I'm experimenting on high and low voices playing at the same time so they don't get in each others way while saying something completely different. If that makes sense:-)
Thank you for your listen, encouragement and for your insight on this track.
Lovely psychedelic track. So much to hear and so much going on, great stuff Robert!! Those keys at 1:17 are straight out of a Jazz festival. Brilliant.
Oh and Qwerty... I had a colleague named "Bert" who had an interesting way of typing his name by running his finger along the top row of the keyboard. I saw him do this and he joked that if he would have a son, he would call him Qwerty, for that reason. He would be crazy enough to do it too, so yeah, maybe it's a name by now ;)
nice work Rob, love how this sounds, the processing is fly really creative great instrumentation them riffs are sic, nice faded entry too.
and Rob i forgot to mention on your comment on my track 'Lyrical Miracle' im gonna use that nice one bro :))
I'm glad to hear that you
still enjoy my attempts at
making some music here on LM.
Of course it would be my pleasure
to send you a copy of the track with
no Vocal. Hope to TTYS...
Hi Jyxnz, Wow! Your vocal prowess is incredible! Just killin't on that track, Pop? Oh no, this is certainly more a "Jazz / Fusion" kind of track. Alot going on but very nice, great job I really enjoyed your track.
Certainly an interesting track. What genre? I think fusion maybe, so many different sounds and influences going on, all genres wrapped up in one. An earful for sure, crazy little trip you took me on!
I've been experimenting with the presence of the Vocals lately. Actually I kinda felt like you, after hearing the track on LM, the Drums and Percussions could have been out front a little more. It's a work in progress.
I always appreciate you stopping by and giving my track a listen. The Fave is super encouraging.
J, this is absolutely Jenious. This is a mixture of fusion / soul /neo soul / smooth Jazz. That vocal fits like a hand in glove. Strong mix and master. This is creativity at its finest on this track. PEACE. T576 OUT.
hey Rob nice to see you around, great track bro, the lyrics stood out immediately, i used them on a track i done with Maj a couple years ago. https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/230382
yours is so different, in a better way. its got bounce, like that fat bass and the drums are so good too the change of direction is great creativity with a different vocal and rhythm and the guitar outro is fly too, nice return mate
I think Maj had sent me the same track
but, I could not figure out what to do with it. You made an excellent track out of it, using some of the same Vocals I used in this track. It's interesting to see that two people can see the same thing but approach it from different angles.
I'm glad you came by and gave my track a listen. Thank you for your compliments and encouraging words.
It's a great trip, dense and full, lots happening but still coherent. Mix is beautiful. When it goes all astral and glittery towards the end, well you got me heading to outer space no question. Cheers from the right side up.
Hey Rob ok so off the stinking bat………that groove starting @ around 0:10 is just plain nasty. Yeah NASTY! Then the synth’s @:0:59 made me slightly wobbly. This is genius throughout especially that exit solo. The overall mix is clean and coherent. Wonderful job Rob! Fave? Definitely. Peace.
What's up Mark,
The prodical son returns.:)
I've got to get back on the horse
and ride.:)
I'm glad you enjoyed this track.
Your Fave and encouraging words go
farther than you can imagine.
Hello Potnah, nice to see you again. It's been a long time... And you sound better than ever!!!
I'm sooo uneducated musically, but could it be that you could classify it as Jazz? May I hope to see you again soon over in the hangar?
Hooray....Hooray....
Rob just stopping through for another listen. I remember you showing me the melody for this one on the ol Farfisa back in the day! Still digging this one. Peace.
The word on the street is; You're
moving on from LM. I hope it's not true
but if it is, you have been very inspirational to me for these few years
I've been here on LM. I've enjoyed your music the whole time I've been here. Your clean super polished style still gives me something to shoot for.
Thank you for all your listens and encouraging comments over the years.
Loved the story you told Manuela in Amsterdam, great idea to try to recapture that feeling again. After listening to this I'm thinking you must have had more than a Heineken in Amsterdam, maybe, perhaps, lol!
Great track, trippy, great groove with some neat sounding synths and effects. Listening on my Sennheisers, drinking coffee and hot chocolate mixed together on a trip back in time, my clothes are all paisley now and the incense is burning!
1000 apologies for the late reply.
I feel like life is moving in "Dog years"
I look around and look back and it's been 5 days!
You know the saying; What happens in A'dam stays in A'dam lol.
I'm glad you stopped by to give my track a listen I really appreciate your Fave and I always get a smile and warm feeling (no drugs honest) from your comments.
This is almost a sonic collage. The bass synths sound like some Supersexy Swingin' bass lines. Which is good.
I like the overall feel. It starts out kind of unsure and dark, and then takes a real 1994 danceclub, backdoor, dream-state, transdimentional, what-the-fuck-is-going-on-but-I-like-it, acid trip direction.
Hello V.
It's good to hear from you.
I've been a big fan of your work
here on LM from day one.
Your description is almost exactly
what I had in my head as this track was coming together in my DAW piece by piece
a little over a year ago. I was actually thinking a 1990's "Rave Club like on "Blade or The Matrix".
I really appreciate you stopping by giving this track a listen and for your very encoraging comments.

Coo intro! Yes it is weird but it flows together. I know I couldn't do it. The synth works is dope tho
As always thank you for giving my track a listen. I pay close attention to your comments.
Thank you for the Fave, and,
May the force be with you.
