overall it sounds like a comination of different influences: older electronic, ambient, old-styled dance music... nice use of synths but I do not like the vocal sample that much (3:59).

i always forgot it. but you made a cool track, and with a good intro but i think there would be more flow if there is a bit harder start. you could shape those loops/samples a bit more. a bit more.

Definitely a cool fusion of old and new style sounds here! I'm fond of the pitch bend lead sort of synth in there, very classic sounding. Cool arrangement too, with some really interesting and unexpected turns. Parts of it have a kind of funky disco vibe. Good mix on this one overall too. I like it! Fave!

Hey this is a pretty cool style! Hip hop and funk definitely work well together. The hook part is nice. It seemed like the verse part might have some timing issue regarding the vocals, like the downbeat seemed really undefined. I think the vocal is hitting a bit after the beat. Maybe this was intentional? I think the vocal would have more power if it hit on the beat, as the rhythm would be more defined overall. Loved the mix and the idea though!

I like it X....nice intro with the organ ..I`ve been using NI`s B4 vst (old version) for organ but just downloaded a free one called ORGANized Trio that is pretty impressive for a Hammond type sound...a bit unusual and really good to hear the use of brass in a electronic style mix...give it a different kind of classic spin...that bass part around 2:55 is great...really interesting arrangement..its almost like some of those classic sounds/styles have been brought up to date & given new life....great track...much enjoyed....Hope the Winter is treating you well over there (I mis-spent a couple of years down the road from you in Glasgow)......Ed

Hey. very groovy track you've made here! Love the jammin sampling! Cool sounding instruments you chose. I'd have to agree with StaticNomad about the vocals, I guess they just sound a bit too wet in the reverb zone, and maybe to heavy on the high frequencies. The rest of the mix sounds really nice to me though! You've done a nice combination of styles in here, and it stays interesting. Well done!

Haven't heard the original mix, but this is impressive work, very much liking the whole piece, are you using midi's in this, if so they work to give it a great sound and feel, pretty much like a vid game, excellent beat arrangement, works so nice with the bass lines, very enjoyable listen my friend....Fav...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...

the e piano lines grabbed my attention right away...sets up that nice soulful/funky groove to follow...enough variation to keep the ears attentive...its a smooth flowing mix Extraball...makes me want to get back at the recording with some of those vibes you have going in this one....enjoyed this one....proof that you can still do it even with limited time & sound options....well done...hope the world is treating you well over your side of the pond...(I mis-spent a couple of year of my youth in Glasgow (Brigton).....Ed

Cool track, very funky, I agree with putting it in the funk genre but there is a bit of an acid jazz feel to it as well. Loved the keys you used they all seemed to mesh well with each other and they changed as the track evolved. Well done, enjoyed the track!

a very funky number 'that moves along quite nicely'. Indeed. That's absolutely true: chill, groovy and relaxing... ! I must say again: I like the simplicity of your compositions and the work you did with all the loops here. The drums you using sound very nice and they are oldschool-styled with this reverbed snare. The keys are just great: from 1:48 you introduce some a little taste of improv. with background rhodes witch sounds cool... The vox loop sounds like on 80's funk/disco recordings. 2:36 - also nice change with 2 rhodes and bass guitar. The orchestral sounds (from 3:00) are maybe a bit too pompous and 'cinematic' in here and goes also too far from 80's funk groove sound image (for me) but still it is very smooth and nice merged together. I am enjoying it a lot!

Nicely done....loving the Rhodes in this. You have this wonderful piece marked in the electronic genre but I agree with crucethus...it's more like funk. Still a great job though! ^___^
