my favorite part is at 2:20, with the piano. To me though it sounds like there is a conflict in bass chords. Like one of your bass sounds plays one chord, and another sounds plays a different chord. I don't know if you care but I thought I would tell you my thoughts on it. Other than that, I like the feel and mood of the overall track.
yes yes yes! you figured out how to use that synth loop PERFECTLY. this whole piece flows so seemlessly, so effortlessly. the breaks are great and i love the drums you decided to couple with these samples.
if youre interested, heres what i did with the same sample [http://www.soundclick.com/util/getplayer.m3u?id=5701130&q=hi]. i think i like your version better lol...
Kudos!
LOVE IT...I lived in Singapore for 7 years and watched a bunch, (I mean a BUNCH) of Bollywood flix. While I listened to this tune I closed my eyes and saw the dancers male and female doing a gig. FUN stuff doctor...fun stuff.
I like the way the intro melodic idea plays across the beat - you cant tell where you are until the groove comes in. Has some nice hooks. Could work with some spoken voice as well maybe. Quite a rocky sounding guitar you are using in the second section, together with a very broken up beat - kicks in with some bottom end after a few bars for a crescendo. Cool.
It sounds fine out of my speakers now. I was really diggin the vox on this. Kinda like something the Cure would do. I also enjoyed the slow Piano treatment. Very NIN-like. Nicely done. Later on!
whatever is making that sound you gated sounds intense haha. real nice solid beat. maybe drop the stuttered vocals a level in the mix at the start, pretty overpowering. really like this tune. nice work.
