thank you for the love cyberflares, that means a lot for me. i love your beats and when shes more ready i would love to pick one from you. i can just image a high box on your production. i will hit you up on discord. love from a banana
thank you 500c, that mix down was hard as fck. to tame the bass entry was mental. i appreciate your comment, i love your mixing and mastering work and i dig a lot from them. u got that modern touch. love from a banana
Lu, I really like this. She has an interesting voice. I gotta say though, brother, if you and Gina haven't already figured it out, let me be the one to tell you....you NEED to duet with her. The two of you bringing your own voices and styles together into one project.... Holy shit, man. That has potential to be something unique and amazing. I was really hoping you were going to come in on this one. I mean, it's great with just her, but to have you echoing her in the background in your style. It would be fuckin' golden, man. Lu, get after it!
Seriously.
Take care, man.
Aaron.
Hey aaron, thank you for cheering up. it made our day. She really got something special, like a raw diamond full of weird energy. she never recorded anything or played in bands. but my hearts stoped when listened to her for 1st. we got a great musical chemistry going and planing to record straight for 3 months. some hopes and dreams are floating and i thank you for your great comment. it gave me energy. love from a banana
great track Lu, Gina got a great voice, full of emotion, you feel that kick bro, great acoustic guitar and bang that kick hits again powerful, really enjoyed it great production mate
thanks Dimestop, she really got that emotion im looking for a long time. remember when i told you my band split up. i was down, now she gave me some new hope. ups and downs, i wish you the best on your way.
thank you VinatageNights, never got the news that Cocteau Twins exist, i googled them, fck they nasty, i got a special place for 80s shit. thanks for recommendation, love from a banana
Nice 808 percussion and vocal treatments on this one mate, not weird at all. I could see a segment where we go full-on hardcore metal, and then bring it right back down again.
Always loved your stuff BL - whether your plucking a old guitar and giving a heartfelt natural vocal performance or going classy new wave there's an energy and originality that sets you apart. This is wonderful and the combo of dubstep with the dark new wave elements fits with the breathless poignancy of the vocal
Pretty wild man, love your vox as always. I'd call this more fusion than weird, there's even a dub influence in there to me, and electronica of course. Which reminds me, here's a dub thing I did a while back. Maybe it might take your fancy to do something with. Could easily tweak it. I'll let you know if I come up with anything else I think might work.
Honestly, I don't really think this needs any work at all, dude. I think it sounds great just as it is. However, since you were looking to do a bit of a Heavy Metal crossover, I may be able to help with that. Let me play around with it, and see what happens. I'll post an updated metal mix when I get it done. Or, would you prefer to check it out before I release it into the wild?
Overall, I really like your style. It's kind of stand-alone, (which is good), but still has traces of some great artists in there. Just in this song, I hear Joe Strummer, Soul Coughing, Eminem, Puscifer, and just a micro-dose of Tom Waits. You really have a great command over your voice, and know how to use it well.
Anyhow, for the time being, I'll get to work on adding some metal elements to this one, and see if it's anything you like.
Take care, Mr. Banana.

It is a very powerful song with the vocal part being the protagonist. You are right, it would be great if you could add guitar tracks and possibly some drum hits.
Excellent work BananaLu
Cheers, Anthony
Just wanted to follow up ur answer to my comment, I really appreciate the love, man. I think sometimes, when we experiment or go out of our comfort zone, we need a little wink and a nudge to keep going in that direction. The feedback I've received has done just that. I just finished the 3rd track for the Halloween drop, and it's towing the line between trap & Hip Hop/metal even more than the other 2. Whenever everything is done, I'll try and find a way to share it, so hopefully u can hear it. I also used a live bassline for part of the track, not something I do often, because I take pride in my basslines. But for a collaboration, that takes a backseat. Id love to have a real bassline to use. Very Much appreciate the love man.
im looking forward to listening to those tracks. i love crossover but that metal is like a consuming bitch. i started with heavy hip hop but these week i ended up consumed by something. i played my bass as heavy and my hands still bleeding. i think i left the realm of hip hop and i go full korn. love to hear your new ideas.
the Lu that so much grabbed me, that musical personality that he owns, i always said from our first meeting keep being you, so unique and original, i can be on your side always Lu i love a Banana too, you wear your heart on your sleeve BN gave a great review and i could only repeat that, its so cool to have you back sharing with us too, are you still gigging in Berlin bro?
thank you Paul, it means a lot to me. After i sat down with your track warriors of the beat. i got a bit sad and i felt pain inside me. i was overwhelmed with your honest lyrics and that was missing in my expression. i dont know how you can handle this, but everytime i get into my real me. it cost me allot of energy. thats why i keep this person locked. this recording was exhausting. but im happy that you cheer me up in my most vulnerable time. love from a banana
Banana, first off this is fantastic! So unique, you had me with that opener and then the beat is just relentless! Also very impressed with your vocals, both technique and quality and treatment of them. Your mix is really nice and clean as well.. I think one thing my ears were expecting to hear on this after that little break at 1:55 was a little wailing, high-end guitar solo/embellishment that maybe introduces a new phrase on top of the the rhythm you introduce. Just a suggestion.. I think what you've got here is super solid and stands on it's own merits and I'm excited to hear where you take this one! Also checked out dusty's version, and those bars are nice! I love what dusty did with it, and could definitely hear more of them on this track if the inspiration hits them. Great stuff, thanks for sharing!
