neat track... I personally enjoy music like this so it is kind of hard to give any objective criticism as to me the only thing that could need some work is the production...

Hey dude

a few things that will help here

take the reverb off the kick or eq it so the bass is taken out of the reverb (cut everything below about 500hz)
All tue other drum sounds need to be eqed so there is nothing below about 120hz on snares and toms and around 400/500hz on the hats and cymbals put a low shelf eq on the bass at around 200hz and lower the shelf by around 3/6db do the same thing with the kick but at about 150hz

at this point you qill need to decide to either use a smaller less bassy kick or Cut the bass off the kick at about 50 hz.

or.....

cut the bass at about 50hz to give the kick room to sit.

also the kick is a little out of key with the bass. Solo'ing the bass and kick should allow you to hear if the kick needs tuning up or down.

nice track tho dude cheers for sharing :)

That first part, the very first thing you hear when you press the play button and then continues to play until 00:50. Whatever it is it either needs serious filtering or just needs to be turned down in the mix. It sounds ok through speakers but with headphones it is actually quite painful. Other than that, everything else is good. The drums in particular are pretty cool.

Overall I think the mix sounds good. One thing that I'm not a big fan of is the kick. I can hear it, but to me it doesn't stand out enough (I've never made or mixed a rock track, so this I don't know how important that is). Other that I like it!

I dig the sound and feel of this one! Kind of aggressive and deep. The bass on this one is very prominent, and that works with my preferences. The panning and width of this sounds pretty awesome to me. Reminds me a little of how people responded to Iris-T-Shirt's first album (the group I have with my Love), they said that if they were listening to it while driving, that they would drive off the road. Not to say I feel that way about your song, it just brought back the memory, and anyway I don't drive... heh. I liked this song quite a bit, and hope you do more like it! Fave!

Hello friend, sorry it took me song long to get to this. I must say that I have no problems with the mix on this track. I guess I like to hear a more pronounced and audible bass range, but it's hard to tell what the intention was here with the bass. The drums are very prominent and the frequencies are well represented in them. The stereo field of the drums is also pretty good. I find that the other instruments are fairly centered, though maybe wide in the sense of the effects used. Some slightly deeper panning might help. Sometimes when going for a wide sound, I will link the track to a send, pan the main channel one direction, and the send in the other direction. You can add effects to either channel or both then, and adjust the depth of panning on both until it sounds right. Panning all the way left or right can cause problems sometimes, so watch for that. Really it has a good balanced sound overall. I enjoyed listening!

I like it, I have heard your loops, and I was initially surprised at the conventional sound this track has, its almost like you took yourself out of the loops that you have made you a must for my kind of music, I am new here, I must say this one has potential, I love the echo effect that comes in later, but this needs to be understood, its not that it's not cool, its that you have maxed my head with the most awesome sounds ever, and here i find you just taking it laid back..its like expecting a bazooka and getting what is in my honest opinion good, but not what i expected from you your work is exceptional, you could have taken this to another level altogether..

I understand music only as a space that fills my head and thus after years of listening i know intuitively when i get the tingle up my spine that there is something beautiful happening here..I advise you to keep at it, you have moments, but sincerely,

Don't go by the book, if you want to, think of it as going jay walking, it will shock people, it will get you in trouble, but you will be the first one to know how it feels to take those steps out of a mothers womb towards freedom..

I liked it, your loops are awesome enough that i have a load of your stuff downloaded, I mean it, take your clothes off on your music quest and break every rule in the book until feel like you have left this world..this is pudding from a chef whose speciality is ass burning loops!
I have only just recently joined Looperman, before this, all my music i made using garageband, and i messed with every effect, never using a default setting as if i couldn't or wouldn't wish to be caught dead having a default on anything, did pretty ok..now i have two compositions, My Maya Angelou Tribute and Forgotten Holocaust which thanks to the Looperman loops masters i was able to develop and got appreciated for as well..Please do take some time to listen to what i like to define as Poet-ent Music as i use declamations in different languages to make my own kind of thinking mans music happen..keep doing what you do, but make your spicy stuff happen, this is like being inside a conventional drumset with echoes that hold promise. and you my friend are to exceptionally talented as a loopmaster..you can do better then this! https://soundcloud.com/omar-haleem-3

I suppose you have a point, I did kind of subtract myself from this one... but the goal was to work on the stereo spread and the quality of the track.

I took your advice to heart and appreciate the kind words, although I must say, there are farFAR better than me lurking in the depths of the loop

all the same, thank ya kindly

genre tags are restrictive... but I understand the need for them, its just unfortunate for some fool doing like I do...
I mean what do you call that?
well it's a hip hop type syncopated drum pattern sooooo...

and that how it goes down

thanks for the kind words and encouragement

Yes, pretty sweet stuff here! You totally have your own style going I see, and I respect that thoroughly! I can't seem to pick out parts that I especially like, because it seems like without the whole mix the elements would not be very expressive, but put them all together like this and you've got an epic track. Cool ending!! Fave!

Wow that intro was freaky! Have not heard hip hop like this before, but I hope I hear it again. The bassline around the 1 min mark was very cool and groovy! I like that you always seem to push the boundaries with your tracks, if more people did that we probably wouldn't have all these boundaries. The chopped feel of the drums is very nice, I can't tell if it's old school or new school... shows how much I know about hip hop. Anyway, killer track! Fave!

First off, I'll say I like this very much! Secondly, it wasn't what I expected when clicking on a "hardcore" track... I was thinking either hardcore dance or maybe hardcore punk, but I really don't know what this is! Love the homemade audio on this one, you have an ear for good and useful sounds! I like the bass at the end very much! Fun and trippy song!

thank you sir, from the likes a spiv no less...

and here's a challenge for you.
do a bass loop search using keyword science
and use em both in a mix

I lookforward to hearing the results

Not weird at all. Very mainstream. I can picture Lady Gaga dropping some vocals over top.

Sounds good. A little malfunction at the end though. Better get Scotty to take a look.

ugh... that hurts.
I liked her better back when her name was Marilyn Manson (that's right, they're the same person)

anywho... I guess i'm pretty out of touch with the mainstream, I didn't know

This is trippy, it kind of sounds like a d&b tunes that's hiding behind the industrial. It's pretty manic. I like the guitars and the vibe of the track. The sampling is good as well.
Just a little too short.

This would work well into game themes as I mentioned in Preferred Company Of No one. I favor that one best but this could be a nice addition to the themes. Nice use of your loops. Thanks for sharing. Peace.
