I hear the Dare's synth from Gorillaz (at 1:00) moulée as a fat growling bassline on your part (1:25). I found this track in the funk section but I feel it as a pure rock bassline with a great picking groOove ! Anyway you did a great mix ! Downloaded, congrats !
Thanks for creating this piece! It's great!
There's nothing like sax and harmonica against a groovin backtrack to bring a smile to my face. You've done that with this track.
Definitely a feel good track
Wish I had your skills.
By the way, my East Coast brother, Though I live in British Columbia, I'm from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
The track is sweet throughout until the end. A fade out would be cool. Again the production was good, choice of instruments was good and your transitions flowed smoothly.
Damn nice piece. I'll be listening to more in the future for sure.
Saw you faved one of my tracks and thought you deserved a listen and a review at the very least. Let's see what you got.
"Picking" My Own Battles, love it. I am not familiar with the ska genre at all. This may well be the first "ska" track I have ever listened to. I liked it. I thought the choice of instruments (sounds) was good, the production was great and the guitar was awesome.
A really great track, my friend
Think I'll listen to another
The two guys ahead of me really summed it up nicely. Nice driving rock. Simple, yet stylish. Sweet solos. It really does sound like something you'd play while driving in the car, on the highway, off into the sunset with the windows rolled down... =)
realy like the feel to this track, good flow.well done.peace,kj,tribal crew..
catchy riff, good rock beat. For me, the simplicity of this track makes it work. downloaded for car and MP3 player. Great Track
good clear sound and a nice riff, definatley driving music with an upbeat feel. nice one, its in my favs
Some reviewers have recently described one of my tracks in this context, and I'll pass it along in my take of this track. Sounds like something that fits within a movie. Nice job, peace. D
It's like crazy man! Was the bad guy caught?
The title of this song isn't a reference to Shenmue is it? I might just be looking into it too much, crazy track anyway.
Are you playing all that? Or just the piano?
Hi Big Daddy,
Wanted to check out to see what else you have up.
I like this jammin tune. Cool fiddle sound in there now and then.
Sounds like it was a fun one to try and make.
Very nice arrangement of loops. This is super cool music. You did well to blend all the levels and instruments. Fuck Esteban though! haha...he is good but he pisses me off. Kind of like Kenny G. Haha. Peace and love, Six
Hill Street Blues, The Streets of San Francisco, Etc. I am hearing it all. I love this groove. It captures the mood perfectly. You and I obvious grew up watching the same stuff because I have a cop show song too...haha. Well done. Peace and love, Six
Does sound like a bit of a jam, Thats a good thing by the way! Good track. Like the panning fiddle at the end.. Ta papa.
The ambiance is cool but the keyboard really adds a cool touch.
Nice rocker here ! loved the effects " I can't believe this is the first time I have heard of ya thanks for peeking in looking forward to hearing more of your stuff .......Johnny G
Like the distorted bass sound, I can surely use that in one of my tracks. It sound like soundtrack music in a movie.
good use of these loops and well put together. i can't wait for my holiday.( i am going to spain!) well done
love the feel of this track great work. i would like to go to happy valley someday
yeahh , this rockt!!
nice pad and FX
A nod to the album by Led Zep's John Paul Jones released a number of years back. This tracks main bass (I think atleast) reminded me of one of the ones from it. Tidal, I think, but can't be certain at the moment. Though if yer a fan of Bass or are a fellow bassist I highly recommend this album. This my friend is a choice chune. Which I will def add to my favs!
