ALX mayne! where you been?? i gotta new looptrack challenge running! you gotta log em in. anyways, great to hear something new from you. usually ambient as usual, but like ye stuff, so it's all good. like the interesting sounds you used on this one, really mello, zones you out. i can see myself searching around in a large computer room...looking for something i can't quite put my finger on. i keep looking and looking and yet still cannot find what i'm looking for that is unbeknownst of me. finally i find it...it clicks...i found the key to to the cyberworld! then i transport my ass there like "Tron"! lol it's really late. haha nice track brudda! peace be with you!
Hey mate. Well, I have a job since July (no more explanation needed! lol). I've seen the thread for the looptrack challenge and I'll try to make something if I have the time.
Anyway, thanks for passing by and giving your feelings on the track, always appreciated.
I am loving this "slowdown" of yours, it's completely trippy! It lives up to what I've come to expect from your work, and I'm honoured to be a part of it! Amazing use of the stems! Great pads! Awesome track all around!
I can always rely on you to please my ears with your soundscapes! I love the eerie sounds you've used! I'd love to get inside your head for a day, just to learn how to create stuff like this! Awesome work!
Thanks man! Always appreciate your nice comments. Unfortunately my head is an area restricted to me only, and it is not always available... But I can try to trick it to get some information if you want!
Thanks for yr listen!
Thanks for yr honest comment brillbilly. You pretty well summed up what I like in making music : beautiful soundscapes and creepy sounds or atmosphere.
Really glad you liked it!
Gollum's cyberpunk future brother emerging from a tangled swamp of broken cables. Nice!
I'd agree with FB though. Could use some mastering. I dumped the track into Logic, EQd (roll off everything below 50hz, big dip at 430Hz to clear up the whooshing, turning off later in the track, big up on the top end +24db HP over 10k to add a bit of sparkle), Multipressor and limiter and the track sounds a ton better (to me anyway).
Thanks for the tips, really appreciated. Like I said to FR, the system I'm using to compose is not the best so sometimes it's hard to master such tracks (that and the fact that I definitely should put more effort into mastering!).
Anyway, really liked your description with the brother of Gollum!!
I decided to stop for another one as i enjoyed the last so much.
There's good ideas going on in this tune, It reminds me a little of Leftfield in some respects. But, (I hate doing "buts" but we all need 'em sometimes) it's a bit "crowded" sounding, especially round the low frequencies. Ah! Now that windy thing has stopped i can hear whats going on. There's your culprit! If you take some of the low end out of that then problem solved really.
The rest of it is really good so a one minute tweak would make all the difference in this case.

Buts are why I put such tracks here, esp. when it's a genre I'm not used to. So thanks for the real feedback! I don't have a good system when it comes to low freq so it's always hard for me to tweak that part. I wanted to give the impression of a overwhelming sound but I guess it was too much. Well, I'll fix that asap and see how it goes, thanks again for the comments!
You've nailed it with this one mate. The variety of sounds you've use creates a spooky atmosphere that would be great as a backdrop for a ghost flick or possibly a spooky video game.
This has got my day off to a good start.

There are plenty of imagination here, and you were able to give, and provide elements that disturb us (pleasantly). An excellent job of composing and arranging.
You are gifted for this musical style ....
sounds like it would be in a movie where the person goes to explore the abandoned house by themselves =)Nice Track =D. Have a good day an awesome music

different in a nice way if i can explain!
Part of me let the Track take me along, but the disturbances did stand up to their name,as in i wanted to keep looking over my shoulders lol
It's so blissful in parts but something is creeping about!
clever Track........in a weird way i really like it!
Really glad you liked it!
