This is very different to anything I heard on here.
I could easily imagine Tom Waits talking over this.
Theres a weightiness to it that doesn't drag it down.
I think the whistle acts as a float to keep it that way.
Heavy but travelling well but to where who knows?
This is one of those moments where ... I wish I'd done this.
It has a definite other worldly quality.
Have to listen again.
hello jack!
thanks for your feedback! sure, it's not a common track, may be because this genre is uncommon too for me lol
i'm glad to read you appreciate the feeling in this one!
enjoy and have fun!
thank you jack for taking time!
Dark overall tone, lyrics, the organ you chose, tempo.... Lots to listen to, cool effects, subtle sometimes. Dig the delays on the male vox. Listened a few times, it gave me the opportunity to pay attention to different sounds each time. The vocal samples are good, minette has a wonderful voice! Sparse in its arrangement but you did well with the production, in my opinion. Interesting sounds used sparingly set the atmosphere but it's fighting my coffee rush. ;)
Jim read the comments on my track from the other day and he knew who Chris Spedding was. Oh well....live and learn. btw, Jim joined the site recently so hopefully he uploads some music soon.
Pleasantly surprised by this one. Has a 90s trip hop / rock feel to it. I like the nuanced lead synths which combine with the whistling. Vocals are quirky to me, in a good way. Nice work.
thanks for your feedback, it's cool!
for the vocals, of course it seems to be quirky, owing to filters used on. It adds some originality to the atmosphere :)
thanks for taking time to listen and to share your feel :)
Hello Danke, what a surprise! I'm flattered by your visit!
i know "Faith no more", a rock band. It made a long time i didn't heard anything from this group! the relation you establish around a similar atmosphere is really gratifying! Glad to read you enjoyed this track, it's cool that Jozzua Lance allowed the looperman community in using his accapella loop! the track wouldn't be the same without vocals...
Thanks a lot for your feedback it's really appreciate!

Let see the things on the right side: it can also allow parents to catch the opportunity to explain their children how to make babies! Things of the nature are shocking only by the way they are translated into words. I specify that this piece doesn't contain lyrics and that's certainly less shocking than lyrics from rap genre or others musicals styles. Be sure it's not the logo " parental advisory " which will stop children from listening to the music in question:)
I deduce you didn't appreciate this track, thanks for your feedback
Damn this is awesome! I left the house for around three hours without my ipod or any other way to hear music... by the time I got home, I knew that music was one of the first things I needed, after feeding the cat. Your song is satisfying that urge immensely!
I absolutely hear the nod to B-52's in this track, and this feeling makes it all that much more enjoyable. In that way, and the possible DJ Shadow reference, this works for the "house" idea. I get frustrated with the preset genre specifications around here sometimes. I could see this place being more fun if we could customize... but then it would be like soundcloud where people put pointless or borderline coprophilic items as the genre tag for their songs.
To my ears, this is quality in composition and mixing. The tempo changes were wild, and I might describe them as "confusingly original" (which is what someone said about Iris-T-Shirt back in the day). Very cool choice of instrumentation, which twisted the idea of genre in the best of ways!
Glad to read you enjoyed this track and you noticed the B-52's touch :)
Concerning the genre, you're right about the customisation... but looperman webmaster can add more genre to the actual list, no?
Always a pleasure to read your feedback ^^

Hey Bleep always good to hear another Bleep track this has a nice gritty intro and ramps up nicely with the accelerated tempo i liked that linkage a lot most people dont play like that so respect to you im always learning from you and the guys here at LM. This is a great concept unique in its own right nice job my friend you have made this stamped with the Bleep trademark. Best regards Robbie.
Hey Rob,
i saw you published your last track on your soundcloud (Scarborough Fair). I will listen to it soon ;)
Glad to read your positive feeling about the accelerated tempo! i made a variation between 90bpm and 120bpm with peaks (ends of patterns) at 129bpm ^^ that's why it was difficult for me to find a specific genre for this track!
(and finally it's a detail ;))
Your words honored me, Thank you for these encouragements which, I know that, are honest.
Hello indie,
if you see things which need changes in the track don't hesitate to tell me! even if it's not on the "artistic aspect" there's always somthing wrong with the technical approach ;)
This is an unusual blend of genres for sure! I'm enjoying the listen!
I am by no means an expert on house, but this does not suggest disco to my ears either - possibly it is a bit slow for disco? The suggestion of New Wave also confuses me a bit... I don't know what kind of new wave these people are listening to, but it's obviously not the stuff that I live by! ha ha.
These things, of course, do not matter! What matters is that you are doing music that you want, and that we get to hear it.
The synth lines were awesomely composed. I found myself wishing for a more continuitous, and less plucky feel for some of them. That is probably just personal preference though, and my preferences are surely not those of the mass population! ;)
Had fun all the way through, and it was cool to hear something new from you! Have a good day!
Hello Spiv!
First i want to give you a BIG THANK YOU! in your comment on "lonely fears", you talked me about several bands whom "Primus".
Yesterday evening, i searched for this band that i've never heard before!
OMG, i saw their last concert at "the capitol theatre" (date: 10/29/17). The bass guitar player is a virtuose! Which masters and especially which technicality! it's unusual a band which is "built" around the bass guitar! i was impressed by this band! so thanks again for the reference i discovered!
i took note of your impressions about the synth lines. Need to work more on this track to perform it lol
thanks a lot for this precious feedback spiv
