I absolutely hear the nod to B-52's in this track, and this feeling makes it all that much more enjoyable. In that way, and the possible DJ Shadow reference, this works for the "house" idea. I get frustrated with the preset genre specifications around here sometimes. I could see this place being more fun if we could customize... but then it would be like soundcloud where people put pointless or borderline coprophilic items as the genre tag for their songs.
To my ears, this is quality in composition and mixing. The tempo changes were wild, and I might describe them as "confusingly original" (which is what someone said about Iris-T-Shirt back in the day). Very cool choice of instrumentation, which twisted the idea of genre in the best of ways!
Thank you for sharing this cool track! Fave!
Glad to read you enjoyed this track and you noticed the B-52's touch :)
Concerning the genre, you're right about the customisation... but looperman webmaster can add more genre to the actual list, no?
Always a pleasure to read your feedback ^^

i saw you published your last track on your soundcloud (Scarborough Fair). I will listen to it soon ;)
Glad to read your positive feeling about the accelerated tempo! i made a variation between 90bpm and 120bpm with peaks (ends of patterns) at 129bpm ^^ that's why it was difficult for me to find a specific genre for this track!
(and finally it's a detail ;))
Your words honored me, Thank you for these encouragements which, I know that, are honest.
A big thanks to you Rob

Is there a tribute to the great DJ shadow here or what ?
Amicalement

i respect the spontaneous aspect of your creative process. I love how this one just changed up at 2:00 minutes in. I love these color changes.
nice orgasmic female moans.
captivating stuff!
if you see things which need changes in the track don't hesitate to tell me! even if it's not on the "artistic aspect" there's always somthing wrong with the technical approach ;)
thanks for listening :)

I am by no means an expert on house, but this does not suggest disco to my ears either - possibly it is a bit slow for disco? The suggestion of New Wave also confuses me a bit... I don't know what kind of new wave these people are listening to, but it's obviously not the stuff that I live by! ha ha.
These things, of course, do not matter! What matters is that you are doing music that you want, and that we get to hear it.
The synth lines were awesomely composed. I found myself wishing for a more continuitous, and less plucky feel for some of them. That is probably just personal preference though, and my preferences are surely not those of the mass population! ;)
Had fun all the way through, and it was cool to hear something new from you! Have a good day!
First i want to give you a BIG THANK YOU! in your comment on "lonely fears", you talked me about several bands whom "Primus".
Yesterday evening, i searched for this band that i've never heard before!
OMG, i saw their last concert at "the capitol theatre" (date: 10/29/17). The bass guitar player is a virtuose! Which masters and especially which technicality! it's unusual a band which is "built" around the bass guitar! i was impressed by this band! so thanks again for the reference i discovered!
i took note of your impressions about the synth lines. Need to work more on this track to perform it lol
thanks a lot for this precious feedback spiv

Where did you get the vocal loop? It is a great arrangement around the vocal.
Regards - Dan
Actually i'm in trouble with the looperman "loop" section. I can't upload loops for looperman users! i called the web manager to resolve this problem! i hope i will be allowed soon to use this section! if it's the case, i promise you i will upload the voice sample i use in this track!

glad to read you enjoyed this track! it's important for me you underlined the mixing quality ;) it's an important phase and it's not easy when you don't have enough knowledges in sound engineering :)

unfortunately, i only have the voice sample! believe me, if a singer want to add her own voice on this track, i will accept it immediatly :)
for the genre, i wasn't sure! at the beginning, i wanted to make a disco track and the bass line is oriented like this but and you wrote it, the others instruments took me far away from my first purpose... so what genre is it? i don't know! easy listening may be? :)
thanks for yours friendly words Wayne, i appreciate your feedback :)

Thanks for your feedback! it's true, there's something jazzy in the singer voice ;) i hesitate to composed some saxo riffs and finally, as i wanted a render near disco, i deleted the idea lol may be i was wrong? :)
thanks for your words which are always appreciate, you know it! :)

The mix is wonderfully clear. Love the hard hitting snare. Love the bass pattern also.
Happy enjoyable track. Congrats!
Dan
about the track "burning in my soul" it missed some guitar riffs in it like a wah wah but i didn't find anything about it and i didn't ask for this here! last time, on the track "the ending" i asked a collab and nobody never answered me so... may be one day, i will find the perfect sample for this track (or may be i will make it by my own)
Thanks for your positive comment, it's really appreciate :)

The above was the only thing left from my comment on your song yesterday, and it was retrieved from the server due to a "security" issue. I have these come up most everyday, and usually my written work is gone for good after that. I will try to continue.
The break beat sounding aspect to the main section percussion is especially excellent. Even moving quite away from the speakers, it cuts through the whole place. I love the sound of that part.
Yesterday, I listened twice, with the second time being much louder. Today I just started out loud. It sounds really good that way.
There is something familiar about the vocal part, maybe it is included in some old DJ set I have maybe not. Either way I like it, and it fits in well with this style.
The whole song takes me "back," in a very pleasant way. It is for sure a fave, and I look forward to hearing it on my ipod. I love this sort of music for walking the streets!
I know that I must have been more, or possibly far less articulate when I commented yesterday, but that is how it goes. I wanted to finish the job, and also get that all to special download! Thank you for sharing this song!
About toxic Humans, you're right, it sounds like old school jungle... i rarely compose this kind of genre so i think that I draw from my memories. Younger, i made a lot of electro fests, tecknivals, rave parties (when it wasn't allowed and i only speak for the french law :))
I'm conscious that the sound evolved a lot, every day i discover new genre in the electro world but, how can i say that... you can't do nothing against the nostalgy... Time goes by, we age and we cling to what were our young years. I do it by music apparently.
don't worry about the fail post, i encountered the same problem too on Shatner Track "mic holders" :)
I'm glad you enjoyed this track. the duration is a little short, i think i need to work again on it.
One more time thanks for sharing your feeling! i appreciate, you know it

This song reminds me of how I used to respects French and eastern Europian culture greatly, and how it wained during the Obama times. Perhaps it was simply brainwashing that I did not expect. Now I support the moves of this region, right now, more than ever.
It's a threatening time, for all of us. And people like you give us hope. That's dope.
Thank you! Fave!
yes, i noticed that you posted comments on several tracks i published here and i really appreciate it.
On this one, if i remember, it was the first i putted here after subscribing myself in this place.
As i underlined it, i wrote this track after watching the movie "I Origin". May be you saw it too? It's not only the movie that i liked but the original sound track and particularly the song from the band "The Do", band that i didn't know before.
I'm glad to read your opinion about the french culture in the electro movement even if we weren't at the beginning of this sound universe :)
Thanks a lot for taking time in listening to my work and commented it
