This is dope man. The mix is clean. The rhythm is lively. Melodies sync well with each other. The arrangement gets a 10/10. I'm any sync licensing house will love this one.
My goodness, how lucky I am to have found this by chance. It's top notch. All sorts of styles come together here, but they all fit perfectly together, yes, into each other. You have an incredible feeling for putting things like this together... real art! Even the wrong notes are right.
My big compliment.
Micky
Thank man :) yes it was a lot of fun fooling around with all the bits and peaces, and recycling Incivanpico's vocals. Ah good to come back to this. Thanks for reminding me :)
I'm not sure what it is for sure, but those vocals scared the cat!
Not what I expected, so I suppose I can see where danke was coming from about the voice. Maybe it would blend more if the rest of it weren't so crisp and brittle high end, you know tamed a bit.
It sure is a blend of styles in here! Confusingly original!
I like the effects on this one. The ring Modulation and phasers were perfectly used. Sort of reminded me of U2 in there Zooropa phase. Well done and creative.

What a fun track we got here
And as i saw, lot's of people worked on it
I like this collective vibe i think we can hear it within the track
Nice works guys !
Great track. Really enjoyed it. I would call it psychedelic funk rock myself. Definitely a funky element, and definitely rocks. You can dance to this and that's vital. I loved the interplay and flow of all the different guitars. Some great wailing, some great bass especially in the section where it's featured. It carried me through to the end bangin' and boppin'. Cool tune and successful collab.
Hey this is a very original piece! I'm digging all the various performances which are included! The processing on the rhythm guitar during the guitar solo is cool and very effective. Vocal snippets are fun in this context! Definitely not much like this on Looperman these days, and it's great to hear something different! Dig it! Fave!
Oh man, I missed your comment shame on me!!! Thanks for listening, and yes it is not what is going on right now - I really need to do a bit more Hip-Blues ... at the moment I am working on an album something that leans towards good old prog rock - after all I am an old fart :D :D
real cool i like the guitar on it some of reminded me of steppenwolf born to be wild on the Easy Rider soundtrack you have a great vibe going on there well done Regards Robbie
Hey Nodog, thanks for listening. you mention steppenwolf, I used to hear them all the time years ago, they are deeply engrained in whatever makes my music. Funny thing is I am currently working on a new track, and I realised it has a lot of The Pusher in the riff..hear you later, TG
Not cool Mister. I actually checked your account to see what is going on with your comment. You posted the same thing several times. So you are one of these people who take but can't be bothered to give anything back. You know maybe a short text and a smilie would have been cool..... Anyway, Ihope you enjoy the track. Peace!
I hear Tina Turner. She is soft rockin this, adding her bluesy spin on this, bouncin around with her big hair making us all proud to know her. She and those fishnet stockings are crooning something strong, commanding and powerful. Nothing but good vibes going on here.
Hey there, thanks for listening. Wow I never thought of that :) .So now I have this vision in my head of Pico in fishnet stockings, high heals and a beard doing a Tina Turner impersonation :D :D :D Hey, thanks for listening and commenting, appreciate it!
Thanks man! Yes, me and Raymond the drummer did a few of these already, if you look in my profile there are a few there with Hemanifezt. I love that, Blues and Hiphop - what a great combination. And you know, all started with the blues, then came soul, then Funk, Disco and then Hiphop. Straight line...and now they meet again :D
Dang. Bro, those drums. They're so big. This mix is really big, though one thing that stands out from the start is the bassline. It is *really* heavy on the subs to the point that it is saturating the overall space and losing it's clarity. Bass and drums are the most essential parts in a song of this style and you've got the drums down. I'd suggest taking another look at the bass line. Overall, a killer fun track and I had fun listening to this one. Your voice effects were perfectly mixed and the guitar does some enjoyable little riffs. Thumbs up!
Hey Brado, thank you so much for your advice - you were right of course. I dropped the volume a lot, and also removed some of the bass boost - I think it is much better now. I must say, I have never mixed this type of bass before, I used more natural sounding bass before and found that much easier. So thanks again, much appreciated :) TG
Yeah Tee,
way to stick with it. The Metaled vox is much improved.
I think the widened approach works better and adds a distinctive element between the two vocal tracks.
Very cool tune.
Very cool track here bro, sort of reminds me of some early Bowie in his Ziggy Stardust phase with Marc Bolan on guitar. I love the music but feel the vocals need some work, primarily the male voice (3:00 mark). You might try double tracking it and spreading it more to the sides to get it to more open areas. That effect on the voice is hard on the ears too. Trim the high levels a bit. Adding vocals to a track is a whole new ball game. Its why I dont do it (ha ha)! Very interesting track bro, I dig what your doing. Maybe just a little fine tuning is necessary.
Hey Neo, thanks for your comments, I read them carefully a few times and tried to adjust what you and the others mentioned. I never done such a track before, I usually move around rock, blues and a bit of rock-hop - so it was a first for me. Yes, vocals, that's a challenge, absolutely. So anyway, I tried some stuff, if you feel like it give it another listen, let me know what you think. Thanks again for your input, priceless!!
Hey, appreciate your honest opinion, I love that. Please see my reply to Danke, and maybe give it another go as I tried to improve the song going by the suggestions given here. TG :)
I am 'afraid' if I would go to the gym, while listening this, I will totally DEMOLISH the workout lol. Feeling like The Rock Johnson himself! Certainly the first time the guitar kicks in haha.
I am not a rock lover by nature but Looperman feels a bit like open ground for me to check pretty much any genre regardless of my likings and I must say I enjoyed this one :)
The only feedback I could actually think of is turning the drums volume up a tiny bit. For now either the drums felt to be left a bit behind, or the guitars are a bit dominant. I am not sure which one it is. Again, please remember that I hardly listen rock so its all down to what I can tell from my abilities here.
Personally, its a bit repetitive in my perception for 5minutes long to be honest. Good to see that you respectfully address to the samples you used.
Hey Wobbin, thanks so much for listening and commenting, much appreciated. I will 100% check out the drums/guitar volume thing - as the guitarist I have a tendency to up the volume on my stuff :D I find volume mixing the hardest thing, so hard to get right...
I get the same thing as you do with rock, listening to stuff I normally don't here on Looperman, like house or dance etc, but it's good sometimes to do so.
So thanks again, and see you out there on the tracks :)
