Cheers John, appreciate your thoughts.Apologies for the late reply, haven't logged on for awhile.Your work sounds incredible,by the way...I have reviewed and downloaded a couple of your tracks.Rock on,peace and goodwill, mate.
Worked this time. Actually got to hear the entire song. I've encountered the situation a few times now where the entire song doesn't load. Hope that gets taken care of it the changes Shan is making to the sit.
look its got a great beat, i think its got too much synth it over powers but otherwise it has potential i understand about the fade out at the end. was expecting BOOM with a sick ass base beat to follow but as was previously said "alas"
Hi Resonanc, thanks for the review. Its gr8 to get an idea of what would improve this track.I've tried to balance the synths out,I don't like to clutter my music...interesting thought.Cheers mate
Hi toony698,thanks for the input. It took me a while to get the mix mastered,I tried it out on a few different systems and was happy with it in the end.It depends a lot on personal EQ prefs. etc.Cheers mate
Hi John, appreciate your kind review Bro,I think you may have had some technical hitch with downloading the full version as the guitar solo outro DOES actually fade and peter out ! Cheers mate, peace and goodwill
Nice and subtle. The lead is a nice touch and sets the tone. I do think that a more elaborate drum track would make this even better or a little more percussion, but the fact that you came back to this track years later is pretty cool.
Gidday John, yeh not many would know the show this is from ( i think its on you tube)being Australian and retro. Thanks for your very generous review, peace and goodwill mate...
This one's quite dark and moody..I like the visual audio setting..sounds like a good platform for some vocals as well..it's got an almost 'New Wave' aspect to it..I think it's the drums they have that UK wave sound..where as if you'd used a bigger sounding rhythm kit it would be way more metal orientated...nice work..cheers planet
Hi planet, you are spot on with your assesment and I appreciate your thoughts greatly.I'm in the process of remixing this and hopefully improving its general vibe. Thanks again, cheers, untilspirit.
Hey man..nice one! Big juicy shimmering chords and a deft touch that shows you've been around the block a few times...It always amazes me how the term 'retro' elicits a negative response from some people because it harkens back to another time(when people could actually play! lol)..well I say bring it on!..a proven big sound pastiche that is still popular with music lovers the world over..cool stuff!.. cheers planet :)
Love that guitar tone..with phaser. Definately retro. Smooth and captivating. Good use of reverb & delay without being over the top. Very nice composition. Essence of Latin Jazz...which I love. Superb Job. - Bilbozo
Wow,thanks heaps mate. That means a lot to me.You happen to be one of my favourite artists on this site and I have a lot of respect for you and your musical excellence.peace & goodwill
definately unique sounding. i dig it man. nice original style. keeps building up. this makes me feel like starting a mosh pit in the middle of the dance floor if it was played at a club.
Alright - here goes, will try to write as I listen.
The intro is so intriguing that my mind melts of curiosity. The riff coming after is totally badass..!
The only thing here is I feel that I'm waiting for a climax that never comes.. Oh - there it was. Awesome man.. Perhaps more drum-action when the climax arrives? But seriously - this one was great - make more of these :)
Man,thanks v much for takin the time to review.I tried to mix it up but still keep it consistent,I guess thats why its more soundtrack like rather than strait out metal or rock tune.cheers man...kindred spirits!
very very original!
it was pretty cool, an interesting listen, i was never exactly sure what would come next, but in the end it was a neat track.
the ending is awesome, i really liked it.
keep up the good work
