TrainWrek Xpress - Untilspirit

Name: TrainWrek Xpress
Duration: 148 s

Description: I like to dip my feet into various genres and though this is not my bread 'n' butter, you can't beat a good groove with funky sounding rhythms. Not sure if this is dance, techno or whatever...hopefully just cool, catchy music.I enjoyed making it,hope you enjoy listening to it.As always, critiques welcome...peace and goodwill.

look its got a great beat, i think its got too much synth it over powers but otherwise it has potential i understand about the fade out at the end. was expecting BOOM with a sick ass base beat to follow but as was previously said "alas"

Hi Resonanc, thanks for the review. Its gr8 to get an idea of what would improve this track.I've tried to balance the synths out,I don't like to clutter my music...interesting thought.Cheers mate

I don't think I'd class this as dance, I guess I don't really know what genre to put this in either.

It sounds like the levels might be off when that deep kick comes in.

Pretty cool track, not my thing, but pretty cool :)

Hi toony698,thanks for the input. It took me a while to get the mix mastered,I tried it out on a few different systems and was happy with it in the end.It depends a lot on personal EQ prefs. etc.Cheers mate

ShurelyTemper 27th Jan 2011 01:31 - 15 years ago

I like it, quite dark and sinister, with cool notation. altho when it stopped i was hoping it was gonna burst into a main pumping groove but alas..

untilspirit replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Hi ST, cheers for taking the time to review.I'll keep your suggestions in mind for future synth based music.Peace and goodwill, mate.
