can i ask you another one? how does it become a funk genre? is it because of the guitar pattern or loops or you just made it like an ideas in collaboration of other song and coming from the other artist, i like your so track much. :-)

A gift to hear you and Wayne work together again - the sounds are sublime, but i gotta step out on a limb here and say the lyrics would be better served with drum in the last verse/chorus - nothing splashy but something that anchors the point - the finality, the track starts with such lightness, but by the end things just ain't funny anymore. well, how's that for two cents, my friend - peace.

I noticed the panning right away with the guitars, really opens things up for the vocals. Catchy, nice lyrics, bass was cool as well. Had a Beatles(Mr. Moonlight, think that's the name of it) feel to it. dl and fav!

Wow, interesting mix, you chopped and placed things where you wanted them, cool! I was wondering what you were doing over there with all those tracks I sent, doing some mixing I hear!!!

Your vocals really stand out now and they sound great too. No bass? It was a bit busy with the mando, I didn't care for it when I put the two together, well, they were recorded seperately and prob not meant to be in the same mix anyway.

I love how well this song is crafted.Great hamonies,nice notes before the drums and bass come in.A cheerfully sad song,Dm then Fm on end of chorus I think? creates a nice early Beatlesque feel,Love it.

Another great song of yours. Gradually, I'll listen to them all. But I still love your sound and your style.

Nice understated guitars always sound great to me, so I like this track a lot. The mix is excellent too, though I don't know why you aren't satisfied with the drums ~ I think they go well with the tone of the song, though I probably would have added heavier kick and low snare flams here and there (but that's just my personal taste). All in all, a rather fine job, as is your usual effort.

Great guitar sound and song,It really does sound good stripped.For myself I hear a Santana lead maybe or clean and jazzy,I tend to think on guitar terms.I might have to plug the guitar in and jam with this one myself!

Hey Frenchkid,I played with this.You know the more I listen it seemed to have a complete life of it's own,everything I tried took away instead of adding to,you don't want to cover up that sweet mandolin.It does stand alone as a great song,I have played guitar long enough to know when not to.Now having said that,let's definitly do something together!

Songwriting in its best form is from experience, from the heart. This is what you have here. a top-notch song, hope I can do it justice by adding a little backing.

StÃÂphane, your delivery is so deadpan it would take somebody way too involved with themselves to be offended by this off-kilter and sweet song. The guitar arrangement is perfect.

I like this version! Clean and crisp recording, the guitar sounds espcially nice, great lead through it!!

You decided to go with an electric rather than the acoustic, I think you made a good decision. Nice vocal performance and nice effects on them. Excellent recording overall, is it mastered?

I'm volunteering to add a bass line when you get to that point. Percussion, bongos, and more percussion, lol!!!! That's all I have to say about that.

When I listen to this tune I get this urge to play guitar, good music does that to me.
Can't wait to hear the finished piece and how you will arrange the tune. (Probably a bit differnt than I.)
