... the song didn't seem long at all. a real treat to listen to without the wine.. there's so much in the song, and you're never left bored listening to it. a fav for sure.
Excellent i love this. Beautiful everything. This is the first track i have heard of yours. I was going to bed but now i have to stay up and listen to more. My kind of music. Love it. Papa Chubbs
I've always been a big bossa fan....this is great!with a flavour all it's own...great vocals...not an easy song to deliver I would imagine as the nuances are very subtle with no room for error.......different and way cool.....cheers planet
Hello Killtone,
This is the first time I have reviewed one of your songs. I happened to catch it as a 'featured track' and thank goodness for that.
I like the song a lot, and I liked the music instruments chosen.
Your voice is nice too. I have Reason, but never use it as it came with my Pro Tools I use.
The drums sound 'live' as I always like that rather than the canned synth type drums which remind me of the Energizer bunny! :-).
So I think you suceeded in making your song sound live. I do the same as much as I can. Sometimes it sounds like your right there in the room.
Good Job.
Oh...as for 'Mastering', a fellow here in my hometown does Mastering for approx. $20 a song. He has his own large old Heath -Allen analog console for recording live bands, and doesn't care for digital that much still, but uses it for mastering. So you might want to check around in your area and just see what it would cost if you want to go that route.
If you do it, ask them excatly how, and what they had to do and maybe you can learn from that, and do it yourself next time. See if you can stay in the studio and watch them! Usually takes 1/2 to 1 hour at most.
I believe here, he uses Sound Forges' audio analysers tools?

very very good work!!!
love the vocals, brilliant arrangement and very exact execution ... nice harmonies!!!
over all the composition and the production are great ... also the instrumentation is very good ...
top job!!!
Good song. I cant tell if it reminds me of some early 80's songs or if it reminds me of someone like The Ocean Blue. But if you have me thinking that deep you caught my attention. Its a good song. This is hard song to pull off and I think youve done pretty damb good a doing just that.
i like your chord progression and vocals
and of course the way of composing and arranging
there´s a lot of musical substance in it ......
it seems to sound quite normal for the average listener, but for me it sounds extraordinary........
hope you´ll post some more tracks

like it with these added tabla rhythm and all the unusual chord progressions
