The melodies are really crafted well.Loved the different soft synths used.
The structure of the song is nice and variations keep coming up.
The drops are awesome and loved those sqare/harsh synths.LFO Rates are synced nicely.Awesome!
Its one of the hardest thing to modulate them in Dubstep genre.
About the drops and buildup they can be made more intense with percussive elements and different FX.Search them up.
Beats are nice but can be more punchier.Do add more percussion.
Mastering and Mixing is really nice.Liked it!
And you already got an awesome detailed feedback from ValVedriVer which pretty much explains everything.
This is pretty good. I like the fact that it starts out with a darker, heavier intro. Not that cheesy ass chipmunk bubblegum synth business. I also like the melodic nature. It actually has purpose. The drops are nicely pieced together, and the melodies between are actually melody driven. Good work.
There are only three things that stand out to me in regards to room for improvement.
1) The different synth levels in the drop. Some come across as much louder, or quieter than others, which kind of disrupt the smooth flow and give it a "pieced together" feel, taking away from the smooth flow. Pretty simple fix. Just a little tweaking in the mixer.
2)The drums get lost in the drop. During the rest of it, they're fine. I think if you take care of the levels from the first suggestion, this one would probably work itself out with very minimal work afterwards.
3) A lack of impacts on the initial drop start. Your builds are good, they lead up to the drop with the anticipation needed, but then kind of just stumble into the rest of it. If you added an impact, or some big hits right at the beginning of the drop, it would slam that badboy into your face! This, also, a very simple fix.
Aside from those simple technicalities... "Sick drops, bro!"
This is a good piece. With a little fine tuning, I think you can make it better.
But, this is just my opinion. Take it for what it's worth.
Good work, keep it up!
Take care.

Hey man thank you for honestly telling me what can be inproved. It really does help me a lot. Im going to work on the song later tonight and I may re-up the track after I make those little fixes. About the drops. For the life of me I can never get the very beginning of a drop to be in ur face. I think that is my biggest problem in producing this type of music. I dont know. I will definitely mess around with that because it is true , the build up is very powerful and then it just kind of like goes into a drop that doesnt start out powerful. Thanks again for the extensive comment !
This sounds really cool. Loving the atmosphere's at the beginning and the melody is superb. Nice lazer effects and swooshing noises followed by some splendid wubbyness.
Everything about this track is excellent. the ideas are good, the mix is nice and clean and the arrangement is wicked.
Now i'm just going to kick back and listen to the rest of it.
Top tune!!

Thanks for the positive comment freeradical I'm glad you enjoyed the listen and can't wait to hear some more of your tracks. Right now I'm taking my time writing another dubstep beat that is a little more intense and sounds a little bit more like an orthodox dubstep. I will probably put that out in 2 or 3 days.
Great dubstep track! I'm not a dubstep producer by any means but I would have to agree with D3RELICT & StylesBM that maybe adding a bit of bass would tie it together. Other than that I really like this track, the title "Serenity" certainly fits because that's how I feel when I listen to it!
Nice Atmospheric dubstep, now i don't know much about the creation of dubstep nor your style of music production but the drop may need some more bass here and there. But damm this is nice man i was lost in an atmosphere while listening to this is was really nice and calming in a way, a very good back ground song. Keep it up, I am always learn from your sounds because i am trying to make dubstep my self bad at it too but will see. I will stay tuned for Your next work. Keep it up!
Thanks for commenting and thx for listening I really appreciate it. I do agree about the drops. I will be totally honest with you. I suck at writing drops. I don't know what it is. Right now I am working on a more orthodox dubstep track, I have a feeling it is going to be much better than the rest that I have made. It takes so much time to write tracks and I have no time to do it lol. If only I had the time I would perfect everything better but I am still learning how to even use the program to lol. Little by little we will get better. :)
I've noticed you're good at creating an atmosphere. :D Have you tried adding some sub bass to the drop. For this style of drop I think there needs to be a wall of bass under the talking bass; something to rattle the floorboards during the drop. The bass drone that you have there would be good but it just needs more in the 5Hz-20Hz-ish range Also, the plucks from 1:06 to about 1:23 are ever so slightly behind the beat. I don't know if this is just the instrument or if you intended it to be this way, but that sort of just-slightly-off squirrelyness just bugs the everliving F%#@ out of me when it happens in my own tracks. That's just my $.02. I hope this helps.
that's a pretty solid track man! It's a little bit on the heavy side for my taste, but from start to finish I liked the flow, the drums were solid, and I thought the transition synth was pretty dope as well as the second transition. Nice production ;)
This sounds pretty good. I like the stereo play with that synth. If I were you though I'd scale it back a little so that if someone only has a left or right channel and not both they can still hear all of it. That's just one of my pet peeves when song is completely split between left and right so you can't get the full picture on one side. Other than that, I'd maybe boost the low end but that's just personal preference. I really like the ominous vibe in this track. Nice work!
I used to not like to pan much but lately I have been getting more into it. I feel sorry for those with just one speaker I feel there pain I have to work with a stereo everyday at work with just one speaker and it sucks but I think when you have two monitors the sound is intreging . When your talking about the low end are you talking about the bass or the sub?
Thanks for the great comment I'm glad you enjoyed it!
This has to be good cause I liked it, lol. What I mean by that is I am not a dubstep guy. Nothing against it, just not my thing. But you have some really great sounds going on here with some excellent melodic lines.
I can see why you are proud of this track. You should be. I even like the little note you threw in at the end, lol. Intended or not ;]
I really like the background synths and pads. I think the wobble bass could either be tweaked or exchanged for a more heavy bass. Something more dirty sounding. But you did say it was going to be upbeat, but it still works. Almost trance sounding at parts. Great track, after listening again it does sound cinematic almost, has a epic feeling. peace
This track is purely experimental at this point. Right now im working on another track that is a little more dubstepish but still upbeat I dont know lol I guess I just cant write orthodox stuff you know... I dont know I guess its just one of those things. I am still a noob so there is definitely lots and lots of room for improving. Thanks for the comments.
I will absolutely do something about my snare sound. Now that you mention it, it does sound very weak and almost non existent in parts. Thanks for the comment :)
Thanks. Yeah I just got into this stuff i really dont know anything about recording lol im trying my best because I would like to do more with it. I get lost in it you know I can just sit here for hours.
Well this is sounding pretty good so far. For a first track it's excellent. I notice though that the kick drum is drowned out a little by the bass but the melodies and arpegios are all good. I think you just need a punchier kick drum and this would be a blinder.
I enjoyed listening to this.
FR
Thanks man I appreciate the comment. I agree the kick is drowned out pretty bad by the bass. I obviously didn't notice as I was listening to it . Thanks for the comment :)
So i guess you must be saying this is one your first house tracks? Or first track ever? Even so, this is actually pretty good work for a "first practice track." It's little inconsistent and some of the arrangement shows it's your first time. However, I do like the vibe of this very much. It has potential, if you would expand on the guitar like melody it would sound even better. Just come back to it over time, that's what I do with some of my tracks now. Keep it up bro. peace
Yea its hard to add much on this as the ableton program i have only allows my 8 track which is pretty crappy. I know i'm a noob but thanks for the comments I will try to fine tune everything.
