hi, this is just very nice combined. The vocals sound like there's some highs and lows in melody range but there's no actual melody, ha! Some laidback-out-of-tune feel on this. I read some review by Spivkurl on your other track and I entirely agree with all what he's saying: it is really mixed and sounding differently from the other track currently uploaded here. I do not know maybe you are just using 'real', sounds... I mean not so 'computerized' ... haha!
I enjoyed this one a lot and the listening experience is just excellent in here. Alex
Thanks, Alex. I think your comment was a compliment, lol!
With our stuff, there's allot of different heads involved. There are jazz, rock, Latin, classical genres, and even the kitchen sink thrown in. I'm surprised you don't hear a melody. Granted, there are some counter melodies going on. Maybe that's where you perceive the 'out-of-tune' feel. We try to give it more of a live or studio sound, since we are using actual instrument when we can. Scott does the mixing and he's a stickler for timing and balance and hates compression. His classical training gives it some orchestral feel.
Anyway, so glad you like it and took time to comment.
I don't hear so many instruments in one song frequently...Here, everything on it's place...Well balanced, well mixed and brilliantly played and vocalized...Masterpiece (for me)
hi, very relaxing music. Simply great collective work and good jazz vibes here. Excellent guitar playing as always. Well produced and enjoyable track. Alex
Very groovy style here, and very proficient performances by everyone involved! Has a classic feel to the mix, with the cleanliness which is associated with modern recording. I like most jazz, but haven't heard a song quite like this before. Definitely one of the finer tracks here on looperman! Fave!
Originally, this was sent to Scott as an instrumental, but he had some pellas in his collection that happened to be in the same key of the song. The great vocals are unknown, unfortunately.
With a talent line up like that it should be excellent M.....and indeed it is...very pro playing & production...its the kind of modern approach to jazz (Latin) that I think makes the genre much more accessible to those of us who never really developed an ear for the old jazz standards ...and the fact thats its extra danceable is a bonus...bravo....a big well done to all involved.....Ed
Wow...Thanks so much, Ed. Your kind words humble me, as I'm sure it will my buddies on this project.
I'm glad you are finding a style of jazz you can appreciate. I'll admit, I love all styles of jazz, even the very first, way back in the 20s. Who knows, maybe in time you will start to get into it more. Some great guitarist come from the genre.
you guys are definitely very talented! :D, coming from someone who cant play an instrument to save his life im jealous of your talents lol. But seriously very nice track! :D
Hope you lot keep making music :)
My compliments to everyone involved with this track. It's sublime. Thank you for posting. So refreshing to hear excellent musicianship and a beautiful production. Absolutely knockout. Love it.
Thank YOU, Richie, for checking it out and leaving your kind words. I'm fortunate to be working with such professional musicians, even if we are worlds apart geographically. I, and my friends, certainly appreciate your comment.
The meeting here of talented people, each in its field, and provide the necessary element for the realization of the right track .... here is the proof.
Despite the distances, communion is perfect.
Congratulations to the whole team. It's excellent ....
Thank you so much for your inspiring words. We all appreciate it. You are correct...Our distance is much, but despite slight language barriers, we all seem to come together musically, which proves music is a universal language.
hey. I like the piano playing on this one. This track is some very unique and original combination of different elements but it is simply great and very very listenable. Enjoyable guitars by Franco, as always. It was nice to hear this tune again. Nice ending as well haha! Alex
Thank you so much, Alex. Yes, Marc did a wonderful job on piano. So glad he worked with us. Hope he will do so in the future. A great line-up included with some you will hear in future projects.
you sure have one talented group of musicians in this one M...and it shows in the result..This is the kind of jazz that has a wide appeal for musicians of all genres....fantastic work and a big well done on the production too.....Ed
Thank you so much, Ed. We appreciate your kind words given to our little international group. Look for more of this line up along with other fine musicians.
Hello guys...this is awesome! Love the live sound, the rhythm the use of the acapellas, the levels, reverb...everything. To all of you...fabulous work.
Thanks allot. Sure, we don't have a problem if you used our track. Please credit us and possibly link to our track if possible. Also, would love to check out the final production and we will link to your video, also.
We appreciate you checking out our track and leaving your kind words.
Yeah, we have a nice foundation with Franco, Scott, and Dan, than we are fortunate to have others 'sitting in' with us. It can get a bit complicated sending the track back and forth to each other, but it all seems to work out in the end.
This is beautifully constructed. Everything is very smooth and relaxing. The vocals are gentle. The instrumentation sounds absolutely professional. I certainly am unable to give a fave fast enough! Thank you very very VERY much for posting this!
