Cool track...
Just need some simple, Congas dancing deep in the groove to lock
this down...

You've created a nice space, so everything could dance apart while
maintaining that together, feeling throughout the song...
Nicely done...

Peace...TG.

Firstly, Pretty nice title... loved everything about the song!! Every Musician is beyond awesome... Being a producer i feel, there are those rare songs where you lose yourself in while listening and avoid seeing the technicalities of it... this is one such song.

Patricia - You're just... WOW!!!
Scott Burkholder - Superb Drums Sir!!
Reiko & Dan - Best part about the song is your talent!! :)
Marc Brouwer - Just loved your piano sir... Such perfection!

Take a bow guys!!

Looking forward to more of your music!

Thanks so much, EtherBlu. We all certainly appreciate you kind words and support.

We are working on a new track as we speak. It's kind of a funky Latin thing titled, "Zoe, You're Going To Brazil," so look for it in a week or so.

That sax is something special M...its not an instrument that we can play well using a vsti and its always a pleasure to hear when Reiko (or Dan) do it....Patricia always does something special with her vocals and you guys have put together some special accompaniament....great to hear the drums played by a real drummer too...Time to take it on tour folks...great job.....Ed

Hi Ed,

Thanks very much for checking us out and leaving your kind words.

I agree about the sax, and fortunately, we have two wonderful saxophonist in our camp. We don't get a chance to use both of them, but they were both available, so we took that opportunity here.

It would be great to all get together in person and digitally we can but distance prevents this. We're all in different parts of the world.

Hi Friend. Almost two years ago i made a song with Patricia Edwards. That was a trance song. I think she is an exceptional talent and fits into any style. And your song proves it. It sounds great.

Hello Friend,

I agree...Patricia is not only a great talent, but also very generous for allowing us to the opportunity to include her fine vocals in our pieces. We have used here pellas on many occasions.

Many thanks for your kind words.

niiice. this song has this sweet 'live session' sound. nicely arranged and profesionally performed although it's hard to say at first which parts were added later. I assume it is an 'arrangement' to the acapella and it is really good. Great jod - really nice playing. Thanks for sharing. Alex

Thank you so much Alex.

Yes, this is 100% live and also, yes, to an arrangement to Patricia's pella. Drums were the last added. Franco coordinated all musicians and send the individual tracks to Scott for drums, arrangement and mixing.

Anyway, glad you like it and thanks for your time and comment.

Nice organ intro, great mix. Has a Curtis Mayfield vibe to it even with a female lead, I like this quite a lot.

M, terrific work here. This one is one part jazz, one part rock, and one part fusion, stirred up and blended nicely to give all of us a terrific listen. When you have a great collection of musicians such as the ones gathered here, you will always end up with a great track.

Enjoyable from the very first note to the very last. Well done by all of you. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season.

Hi Bear,

Thank you so much for your kind words. It really help after getting an upsetting bullying session from another member.

I know you've been here awhile and was wondering how you handle these nasty people. This is my first time. Do you just ignore them or stick up for yourself and your friends? I want to be friends with the members here. I've met some really nice people and musicians who, as you see, I work with.

Anyway, it's my problem, not yours. Just wondering what route to take from an experienced member.

thanks for some nice reply! Actually I can hear some melodes here indeed lol. Somehow maybe it's just extended harmonic content that always catches my attention - being a result of the original mixing of genres and my former listening experiences. Anyway I really enjoyed it again.

It was nice to hear some different guitar sound by Franco in here. Alex

Musicante replied 15th Dec 2014 - 10 years ago
Thanks again, Alex.

Actually, when this was sent to Franco, I wasn't sure if he'd want to do it, but being the professional he is, he took it and did a great job, even though it probably wasn't a genre of his preference. This proves he can play any style.
