The mood of the track definitely fits the scenario that you described. I had moments when I thought about scenes from the Figgs' film "Leaving Las Vegas" while I listened to your track.
I feel as though some of the low end could be eq'd off of the kick, but that may just be a personal preference of mine. Because I feel like sometimes the kick and bass fight for headroom. Other than that, great track!
you really nailed the situation you describe jamid...I like the mix of emotional and the light/higher sounds and the way your composition conveys the sadness without being overpowering down...like the ending idea (although I think I would have left dead silence right after the gun shot)..nice job on the mix too....enjoyed the listen...a big well done to you...Ed
Hello Ed,
Many thanks for your warm and motivating comment.
Usually it is an achievement to have a comment from a fellow producer but to have a brilliant comment especially from you it is an honour.
I am glad you enjoyed it.
As regard to the ending my wife had a same idea as yours I think I am convinced now to change it.
Thanks again

Hello Billy
Many thanks for your comment.
I am glad you liked it.
That bit is should have sounded like a single gun shout when the women shot herself.
Maybe I should look in to it.
Thanks again

that is powerful - that guy at the beginning. what is he saying? "your mine" "your mine" is that right?
very rich atmospheric mix. I cranked it up a bit to fully enjoy. beautiful blend of sounds and a deep feeling - yes - the feeling of loss. beautiful work.
Hello midisparks,

Hello Ant,
This was the very first track that I made almost two years ago.
It is very dear to me; I like to keep it this way as a reminder.
Thanks anyway

This is cool. It's pretty pumping stuff but I can kind of see why you've stuck it under Ambient as it has those chilled out elements though I see it as more obviously dance music.
Good groove and big clap but my favourite part of the main beat is the sort of bass clav that rumbles along nicely underneath that lead. Subtle but it also makes a lot of difference.
1:36 people can really dance to this kind of thing and it's something you can get lost in. Not dark but it's got some slightly menacing vibe. I guess it's kind of deep house.
2:18 lead is cool. Bit of a talking vibe to it. But then it sort of seems to give up a bit. Last 40 secs of this track is it kind of winding down, which doesn't seem like a really satisfactory way to end things.
Maybe it's a little short, like you should have done more with that lead I like. Perhaps bring in another to play off it. Just some small ideas.
Good work anyway, even though it's not the kind of stuff I'm most into.
Hello Static Nomad
Thank you very much for your kind words I will bear your points in mind.
The shortness of the track I thought to keep it short and sweet to keep the element of boredom out of it.
However I do agree with you about the base, I started it initially then I add the melody to it.
Thanks again
Jamid
This is your most melodical theme...
The main synth line is stunning, the groovy too...
On my humble opinion, the middle part is not really necessary (my taste)...I wouldn't break that flowing groovy, if I was you...
This could easily be fitted by a female voice...
Congrats and respect, Danke
Hello Danke,
Thank you very much my friend, your opinion is very well received and appreciated here.
Your words are like a music to my ears thanks again.

Neat, something fresh and interesting. The mix is good, I liked the layers under that main synth. Sounds complex yet simple at best. For useful critiq I am unsure how to further this track more while keeping the same vibe with interest. Listening and one cannot think of additional placements due to indulgence in current form of this state of mind. There will be others that have the right info for you, as a listener the experience was worth of its time. Thanks for the share, Peace.
Nice ambient (you call it) with some electro jam on the synth...
It's rolling nicely but sometimes I miss a pad and another theme...
Drum is o.k....but I prefer another snare sound but it's all about taste...
Congratulation, Danke
Thanks danke

It is simple and soulful and at the same time laidback.
The explosion at the end i would probably leave it out and just let the chillout track fade away slowly into oblivion.
Faved and download. Blessings - B.
