This is pretty fun stuff! I find the composition of the synth parts to be pretty eighties, while some of the actual sounds used put me more in mind of the nineties. The overall mixing and stuff sounded quite modern though. This is a good combination of traits for a song to my ears though, I like to combine those sorts of influences as well! Groovy, funky, dancable and all around cool. Dig it! Fave

Hey jamid, good to see you posting! I can't say I listened to much of this music back then but like Ed said, you couldn't help hear this kind of music played in movies and all sorts of clubs and stores, airports... It's nice you could write a song for someone's child and time stamp it to a certain period. Good skills!

It's well put together and nicely mixed. I like all the space in it even though you used what seems to be a lot of sounds and instruments. There is a lot happening and it doesn't feel cluttered or overdone.

Definately got the 80's vibe from this track nice one!

It says a lot about your flexibility and knowledge as a composer that you can do such an epic job with this 80s feel. Of course it's easy for me to write 80's style 'cause I just haven't caught up yet! LOL! But really - you stay true to the genre and make a happy, great sounding track! Nice job! Dan

Well, you definitely know how to make an entrance, haha. Wow, great tasty synth work on this one. It does have that club vibe as Ed referred to. I've always been a fan of that big phat synth sounding lead, and this one has plenty of that. Really nice work. You had from the start and kept me all the way to the end. A great way to start my day, bobbing my head and having some synth jam with my toast and coffee, haha. Well done! Happy holidays. I hope all is well.

I spent a lot of the 80s in airports & hotels...and most of those hotels had some kind of club downstairs where you could have a listen for a while before cashing the day in...definitely reminded of the vibe...I like that its a nice uplifting kind of little melody with the high synth lead & great fat analog bass lines..addicting kind of beat...I could listen to this for a long time...you`ve outdone yourself (again)....keep on...you just keep getting better....Ed

Kind of feels eighties but also late nineties at the same time. (the drums are the difference). Great use of analogue sounding synths, a pleasure to listen too.

I love the rhythm of this and the variation of sounds! There aren't to many songs that make me want to dance at 2 in the morning. Nice work!

Very creative track, very original, would like a to hear a build up to the intro rather than it just jumping out at me, but other than that it's a very well put together piece that stands out. Good work.

Sounds like a blend between a video game and something I'd hear in an animated movie haha. Really cool, and quite impressive for doing it in 35 minutes! Are those flutes sounds? lol they sound like a sharp synth hit but I can't tell haha.

I don't get your detective I actually get myself driving down my favorite road around here which I've mentioned before the a55 skimming along the coast and through the mountains.
In fact I might download this later and take it for a spin.
My granddaughter has poked something in my headphone socket on the front of my pc and it's dulled the right channel which is making it a little difficult to do stuff but doing stuff again I am.
Lead won't reach around the back to the soundcard but hey ho.

Very nice track Jamid. I enjoy this music while I am driving or while painting watercolors, it can help to focus and concentrate on one thing like a meditation. I also think this would work as a cinematic piece in a film, showing a passage of time or a montage. Always impressed with what you bring!

HaHa....hey jamid...cant say I have pictured our talented friend Orlando drunk...but you do set a cool scene here..it has that bit of old-time detective movie vibe that would fit Orlando`s appearance....you have nice width on the mix...I think the drums work really well...I always have a hell of a time finding drums I like so I know it can be lots of trying & searching for what fits the music just right (make a big difference too...as you know)...the ride cymbal addition is spot on...you just keep getting better...well done....keep on....Ed
