Boy howdy, you got excellent references from a lot of the stellar artists of Looperman. They made many comments on what they liked about the track leaving me with little to add. I was pleased with the build up and the impressive entrance of the percussion elements. It was easy listening with some wasabe. I would like to be able to create a track like this--well, dome. vig
Felt a fave coming early on. This is very, very beautiful. It's sweet, yes, but with a heavy lilt of sadness which gives it great depth. Whoever Glenda is, seems like she must be a real sweet soul.
Yeah, she's a sweet soul from Australia...can't tell you more, but I have to say big thank you for your lovely feedback and the 'fav'...means the world !:)
Always a pleasure to hear from you Steve ! Thank you so much for your positive feedback. Funny enough...a very talented singer is already working on the track. it should be posted here very soon !:)
This is gorgeous. Makes me want to walk around the streets of Paris, watching lovers walk by. I wouldn't call it "over-sweet"; "cinematically sublime" fits better. Thank you for sharing this beautiful collaboration. You've made some magic here.
Thanks so much for the wonderful comments, much appreciated.
I'll call the song "TIMELESS" since the track is so beautiful.
Another day or two and I'll be done, will it be okay to post it here on Looperman as long as I give you the acknowledgment credit for the track?
Your tracks are amazingly beautiful.
That's great news....ofcourse it's ok to post it here...I would even say it's a must...:)) Hardly waiting to hear it but just take your time and do your best.
Thanks especially to you my friend for letting me again
to contribute to your great music, but now I'm short of words cause I'm rushing to hear what I just saw on the page. The excitment is unstopable...so see you there...:)
We were listening to some of your tracks and it would have been a sin not to let you show your wonderful talent on our latest collab. In fact we're excited about what you have to offer this time. It will be an honour, so feel free to contribute with whatever you're about to come up.
Also many thanks for positive feedback and the fav !
Always a pleasure to hear from you Steve. Thank you so much for positive thoughts. Funny enough, that piano was only
optional at the beggining but eventually found it's way in.
good evening my friend and welcome back...this is a true masterpiece with it's sensuality and sensitivity...
could be a french movie soundtrack...
very much like that violin or string section...on my humble opinion Ed's guitar is on the back a bit but it could be conscious of course...
Hi my friend...it's been awhileand it's nice to be back. Thank you so much for your positive thoughts. About the level of Ed's guitar...yes, it was conscious and it holds a bit of irony cause I always saw that guitar as a key point of the track. So how did it happen? When we did our previous effort "Timeless Sunday"
which is very similar in style and instrumentation many people were complaining that the guitar is too much to the fore in the mix thus distracting the melody flow. Having that in mind I decided for a different approach as a final producer of the track. I introduced 'stealth' acoustic guitar...you can't really hear it, but you feel it. I think even this way the guitar stays very important part of the track.
Thank you so much again my friend....your support is always highly appreciated !
Superb!
Production, composition, arrangement, choice of sounds, everything at the highest possible levels. Simply perfect.
The "fil rouge" is the bass-pattern which flows under the other instruments for the whole song, constant and "beating" like the time that flows (vampires story here, we speak about centuries not years).
Piano work is probably what stands out but the whole arrangement is of the finest.
You are a real talent!
Ciao, Domenico
Amazing piece of art and composition you have achieved here, very pleasing to the senses!
I particularly enjoyed the mid-section, when things got a bit more minimal. The percussion with the viola switching to the guitar and piano jamming... great! The whole thing had an awesome stereo field, but that percussion of that section stood out especially.
I used to watch the two films you mentioned quite a lot, and overall they were a pretty respectful take on vampires. They're just another species present on earth, after all... they deserve respect... he he
Very cool craftsmanship my friend! I found it excellent! Fave!
Always a pleasure to hear from you Pat, but first I have to say sorry for the very late reply....that's almost inexcusable. Thank you so much on your very positive feedback !
This is truly top stuff.
I always enjoy your work but this is something again.
I think you should be pushing this to a film/tv company.
Vampires real?
Have a quick look at this link it's close to where I live .....
Well....obviously Mabel met one...further proof that my subject matter is serious....haha...
Thank you so much my friend for this positive feedback,
the 'fav' and the link !
Listened to it cca 5 times, didn't want to write quick report...
Your art is exceptional...every note has an own feeling...it's funny cause 75% of your works are jam...but it tells the story for the listener for sure...not necessarily about the title but it's not a problem, we can build our stories around...
my favourite is the last part from around 3.47 when some kinda guitar appears to build to huge groovy...
10/10
all my hats off while giving my hand to shake...:-)
Yeah, my friend...this one is pretty jammy too, but it has its little structures within to bring up some bigger picture
and kinda story feel. Nice that you're pointing to your favourite part....always good to know.
Thank you so much for this very positive and generous feedback...always highly appreciated! Special thanks also
for the'fav' and 'dl'....means alot!:)
