Hey nice one!..this has a really in your face mix very Live!..cool!...wicked bass line!... Stephanie's voice sounds very smooth but what I really like about this track is the almost perpetual turnaround happening not an easy thing to do and it never lets the energy drain off for a moment...excellent work from the South of Oz....(I bet you have a mirror ball somewhere! lol)...cheers Dave :)

Thanks Dave,

I thought you might like the bassline.I swear the mirror ball was only put up for my son's birthday party! I just haven't got around to getting it down yet.
Thanks for listening and your review.

Hey Man! Nice work on this track! I like how it starts out and slowly builds, the baseline kicks in and takes it away.
Like the vocals in it as well! It's hypnotic and full of building energy! Keep up the good work and congratulations for your anniversary!

Well I'm glad to be hearing your favorite track. Love the bass. It's like a monster waiting to come out. Ah but it's been frkn replaced by that awesome vox thing going on. This is sweet. I would love to hear this in a club, that vox thing was the sh. Excellent use of wind sounds - that was uber cool and something i have NOT ever heard done before. Wow man you are original and FRESH. Really really glad, like Eshar, to not have missed this one! Excellent work.

Dude your synths are very good...Very...I think you need work on your drum loops they need more rythm more power more ups and downs...I dont know what you are trying to acomplish with these tracks cus they kind of sound like 80s b movie soundtracks which is VERY nice sort of like Kavinsky (the french guy). But they definetly need more power on the drums at least from my perspective.

TraXnCtrl replied Unknown
Thanks, I have been making my own drum loops for my latest work, but maybe I need to experiment with more loops and add to them. Your constructive critisism is appreciated.

This track is really enjoyable! Did you use a circuit bent toy to get those vocals, cuz that's definitely where they came from originally. I like to hear circuit bent stuff in music. Nice work!

My favorite part about this track was the refrain... You allowed everything to wash over my ears...

thanks, the vocal was made from a vocal simulator....it is not too good for realistic vocals, but great if you want something strange.

on Where Is The Sun by TraXnCtrl
Interesting, I keep forgetting about the Earth's tilt when it comes to seasons. I just think about it's proximity to the sun when it comes to warmth and all that. So what're the days like during your summers, lengthwise? We get 13 hr days here.

As for the track, it has really cool elements, but there are parts that just don't seem to fit from where I'm sitting. Kinda like they feel forced or something. Dunno why I think that, but I do. Maybe it's the voc-sam ya used? (shrugs). Wait... No! I've replayed it and am thinkin that it's a matter of tones. Smooth pads next to a hard bassline. I guess they sound like they're competing. Perhaps you could add some filtered effects to it to soften the overall mix? Or add some distortion to the pads to give 'em some grit? This could go either way, ya know? Later on!

Dude, wicked nice solid sound you have here. The electro beat is mad tight, synths are properly placed, the drum hits are on point and the wobbly feel with that wavy synth is awesome. Fav'n this one.

Hmm, the synths on this are dead on, but for some odd reason this feels more like Rave to me (shrugs). Oh, and the way the synths are on this is kinda reminds me of a mix between mortal kombat and knight rider. Thanks for sharing. Later on!
