this reminds me of computer games in the 80s and 90s!
i think it's great and would fit very well in multiple different kind of scenarios.
mix-wise i guess it could use a little more low end.
maybe you could try to add a deep bass line at some point that sort of carries the rest of the piece along and adds some foundation. minor detail though, i really love the overall sentiment of this.
I like music like this, a bit whimsical and fun. The short breaths or effect that sounds like that starts around 25 seconds is cool. Maybe for some additional vocals you could do some more vocal sounds like that. Maybe some scat type sounds, short vocal noises or phrases rather than singing full lines. Just my 2 cents.
Like your sense of placement, a good ear for belonging and representing a communication between different characters conversation. You just make it work, take the listener down a notch become silent. Like a noisy day suddenly silent. Very deep thoughts too, expression can be understood as sure as the sun shinning into lonely room. Excellent combo of loops and direction. Impressed by this one a lot. Keep at it and thanks for sharing. Peace.
wowa that are a lot of people which you got the loops from, but you managed to put them together in a way that it sounds great ;)
I wonder when you will bring out the version with vocals but I would love to hear that soon too.
Thanks for sharing and best of luck with the vocals ;)
A couple of bars in and i'm already feeling less anxious and more relaxed which is exactly what i could use at the moment.
Your piano riffs are excellent and compliment the string, xylophone?? and percussion sections perfectly.
I love this kind of stuff but whenever i try to make it it usually ends up turning into something more hectic.
Love the big floaty pads you used and thanks for helping me to find a calmer mood.

Hey Charlene.
This track really mellowed me out. Nice soothing melody and the piano-guitar duet is very well arranged. Its one of those that could be happy or could be sad depending on ones mood and perception. Thanks, I really enjoyed this.
VERY promising!
A lovely vibe and beautiful piano and guitar - some dissonance in the melody but maybe you are going for that atonal sound? (the atonal stuff I learned from Steve (crucethus) and don't really no what I'm talking about =D )Otherwise some repitching on some of the instruments will take care of that.
Hello! Thanks I appreciate it. I seem to hear atonal a lot. Maybe I am drawn to that that offbeat type of sound ha. I will get the vocal up pretty soon. Thanks again for listening!

Yo. This is cool. But then they're clearly great loops. Not sure why people just give this level of composition away. To be honest, I wouldn't!
Can't fault any of the arranging here.
As you said you were always looking for new music, here are a couple more suggestions, following on from previous recommendations:
Remember the Golden Teardrops mashup? That Wax Audio guy is brilliant and has 3 albums of mashups free to download. The latest is my favourite and I've enjoyed listening to it a lot and prefer some of his mashups now to the original tracks.
Great loops indeed.
Awesome, thanks for the dl link! Yes I am always looking for new music, this is indeed excellent.
That Beardyman vid is insane, truly, that was incredible to watch happen, damn, I am impressed beyond words with that one. Watched a few more vids of his ha, crazy.
The remix is great, right up my alley too. Added that to my soundcloud play list.
Thanks again! Always open to what you have to share for sure, I'm diggin it

Amazing work! Your tracks are always so cinematic, emotional and always tells a story! I really do believe your music could make it in the movies if you really wanted it to. You have all the elements that movie music needs.

It is a good base for a lovely melodious ride .... I think the addition of a voice will be the key to a high quality track .... Good luck.

I believe you need some Crossfades to get rid of some pops, but other than that, it's a very sentimental sound that is very pleasing to the ears.
Take care.

Here it is:

And here is Beardyman, probably my favourite musical performer alive, doing his looped vocal (no other instruments or samples) version of Teardrop.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwweTmR3ZoU
Check out everything that guy does as he is a true sonic genius and a great comedian too.
Finally, here is an exceptional remix of the Warpaint song Undertow. Much groovier than their version.

That should keep you going for a bit More suggestions next time!
