He used my mix 13B master B to record his parts, so it only seemed natural that he would send those parts over and let me mix them in, as opposed to just mixing over an mp3. His guitar and vocal parts were extremely well recorded and high quality, so it helped things fall into place comfortably. I tried to keep most of the power of my earlier mix, while giving space to the lead guitar and vocals. Also I fixed just a couple small problems that I didn't hear before. Mark has really helped take this song to another level, and I thank him for making trips to town to facilitate this project!

This track first started on my keyboard at the end of March 2014. Around the same time, I had some hard time with my personal life (see My dad is stronger than Chuck Norris). As it wasn’t enough to have my dad at hospital, another sad personal event occurred in the same week. At that point, I had the choice between crying OR take that « Keep calm & Play piano » attitude. Choice was easy, I played piano for hours… wait, for weeks and finally ended up with a WIP.
From that moment until few days ago, I worked on one of my favorite epic experimental / hybrid cinematic track so far.

Warning: There is panorama in the track and some sounds could have less impact using a cellphone. Sounds great with laptop… but you might have to turn up completely the volume. For a better experience, please listen with desktop or headphone.

Description : A weird track for me, I don't usually make slow emotional music... i think this is a first, I made it the night I broke up with my woman, who I love more than life.. a little repetitive but bear with that until you hear it all and try not to be swayed by the 'I lost ma woman' bit

all very rushed and unpolished, production could be better but just take it as it is, this song is special to me

Description : Hey there folks! New track here =D
Ok so this is my 2nd track on logic pro 9, and little did i know that it was gonna become such an awesome work, and the first of 3 tracks i plan on doing in the same style, to put together in a little EP ;)

It's an emotional (duh...) uplifting yet chilled; lovely progressive tune, with really cool piano leads, and soft warm chord synths i created using Sylenth =D
The idea for this track came from the flute samples you can hear, the flute melody in the breakdown, is from a song in the soundtrack of the movie ''Kill Bill'' by Quentin Tarantino, and i just fell in love with that melody, and felt compelled to fool around with it on logic =P

Description : A recording I did a few years ago. I guess I don't pull out my old Strat enough, so this was fun to experience the twangy tone that I loved so much that came with it. I wanted to capture and go back to some of the spiritual influenced playing I used to do, wind things down but in a emotional way. Ambient Blues with a latin twist. Instrumental ballad designed to pull at the heart in solitude. I love to play my guitar like a voice, and try to capture a mood . Selection of clean and overdriven electric guitars. Remember Me ( Recuerdame ) is a latin guitar rock instrumental track that is based somewhat on the cover progression by & la Quinto Estacion. I played all the instruments and layed out the music beds and changed the progression and tempo a bit to make it interesting. (authorized through Harry Fox Agency #SL26498)

A real emotional piece in the key of E Minor Mixolydian and Penatonic. Features, some cookin' electric guitar, acoustic flamenco, piano and strings. I'm not a drummer so the drums were compliments of Toontrack Superior Drummer

This was therapy to get the arm back into shape. I'm so glad to be back making music again ! Perhaps it's time to do a few more collabs too...Woohoo
