Description : this song is the last i created. I wanted to remix the famous "the chase" from the movie "midnight express, i love the original sound! i don't know if the result is enough good but i'm proud to say that all has been composed by myself: the instrumental parts, the arrangements, melody, recording and mixing. Description : First attempt at Trance I feel is good enough to publish, its much harder than it sounds. I'm actually still surprised at my ability to sausage-ify my tracks without actually increasing the levels like I intend. Rip. -- Used the usual suspects of the ES2 Hybrid Synth for a majority of the sounds, with the ESX24 Sampler being used for the reverb-y Marimba effect and the 'choir' section. FM8 is also used for the Pads, and Ultrabeat for the drums. Listening back, I think the high end is a bit too loud and/or a bit too noisy, so that will be edited some time later, but other than that I don't think it was too bad for my first attempt (actually fourth, but the other 3 were not published). -- Download will be available after the contest ends (judging begins today, Tuesday 28 June).

Description : After my dad passing away 5 weeks ago I had a tough time getting back into music as the inspiration was completely gone. But music is a medicine and therefore started up again and found new inspiration from music that I heard on the radio and in here. This is a trancy kind of track which can be improved a lot. The question is where should I start changing. Especially for the mixing of the track. Let me know in a comment so I can better it and learn in the process.

Description : Tried to make a track with minimum compression and keeping the sound less loud than my normal prodcutions. Let me hear what you think of the balance of th track. Still learning how to mix down a sound so it could very well changed for the better.

Description : Update: tried to change it too have less compression. Im still ver ynew to mixing down a track and will learn more of it in teh future. Hopefull ythe new version is a bit better although it is somehow still not even close to perfect

Description : Remix from Sync Diversity "Water of Love". Done with FL studio 10, Nexus and synthmaster. Some samples from loperman (thanks for that;-) ). A big shout out goes to Maiks trance bar from YouTube. Dude, you really gave me the inspiration I needed for this.
