Description : Heavily influenced by Portishead's early material, fx'd drum pattern , keys and DJ scratching, gives it a Trip Hop vibe. All instruments played by me except for the drum patterns. All tracks recorded direct to an FD8 via an FX rack. The song title is taken from the club where Isabella Rossellini's character sings in the David Lynch film "Blue Velvet".

Description : This track is looper grown. Meaning, all the sounds came from this site. Thank you bosonHavoc for the great swing toms. You really inspired me to create this song with your wonderful loops. Check out some of my other creations. *Please make sure you take the time to leave a review for the music you listen to on this site.* -pep-

Description : The whole song was created on an old Yamaha DJX keyboard (remember them ?!) running through an FX rack and recorded direct to my FD8 multitrack, kinda difficult to record as I had to play the bass parts with one hand and change the drum loops with the other (only way I could get the 2 parts to play in time). The intro's maybe a little long for some peoples tastes, but I kinda like the build up. I believe this track was used in a film by an LA film student, which is cool.

Description : This has a very simple drum pattern, one staright beat with no fills, all other instruments were played manually by me. Musically I don't know how you'd describe it ? Krautrock/Tangerine Dream meets Trans Am ? All parts were recorded using an FD8.

Description : This is a piece that I wrote a few years ago, as my wife and I were getting separated. It provided me with a good mantra, as dark as it seems. A reminder that we get addicted to people and that is it not truly as bad as it feels. I will be re-recording the vocal, but I do like where it is right now. Another short piece ... enjoy ...

Description : Quite a big arrangement, lots of drums/percussion, string and brass parts along with bass and guitar. I'm a big fan of soundtrack music, especially 60's and 70's stuff. This song was influenced by the work of composer John Barry. Obviously it's not up to his standard of work, just my own take on the genre. This was recorded using a Fostex FD8 multitracker.

Description : I used various loops in this song (drums, bass, percussion) the rest of the instruments I played manually. This song wasn't created on a computer (I used my trusty FD8). My girlfriend reckons the song is best listened to on a car stereo whilst driving at night. Someone might agree ?

Description : This track is built around a very simple bass riff I programmed and is one of the newer tracks I've written recently, and one of the first to be recorded using software, ah, the wonders of technology.

Description : little concept track ... someone from my high school started a social networking site based on the school alone (ning.com, i think ... very cool, btw). so, it's been a nostalgic few days ... seeing their faces ... basketball was a big thing at my school, both with the team and on the outdoor courts (not that I was much of a player, but I loved it) ... so I collected some varied basketball loops and just let it out ... enjoy ...

Description : Just a new one, that tries to keep different genres together as one piece of experience: Electronica, Dance, Sience and Spirit.
Done with Acid Music Studio and great Loops from different sources, whale sounds, wired communications, cool fx, ...
... comes to more then five minutes of soundtrack.
And at least the interferences get controlled!
